3 AM THOUGHTS

Her friends were gathered around the new gadget that was on the table. A few made jealous sounds and whispers of envy filled the air. 

 

"Iphone 6..." 

 

Claire glanced at her friend and smiled. "Lucky ." Her friend made a face and swiped her iphone, a smug look on her face. 

"Mom did say that the next time I buy a phone will be when Iphone 10 comes out."

"Steve Jobs only invented until Iphone7, Madge." 

"I know right, damnit. He died early."  

 

A rush of laughter travelled and Claire pursed a small smile. 

"Trust me, he didn't choose to die early."
