Day 1.

Baekyeol

Context: EXO is on a short Christmas vacation and they borrowed Yifan’s parent’s cabin which is buried deep inside a gigantic forest in Korea. 

Holding Hands

“XIAO LU!!! COME BACK HERE!”

“BWAH NO” Luhan ran all he could while covering the back of his head with his drenched mittens. Baekhyun ran for his life right behind him with a perfectly shaped snowball, trying to aim while running.

Most of the members enjoyed their time off in the snow, except for Yixing and Yifan who had gone shopping.

Most of the boys were already drenched and shivering but the fun of it seemed to keep them going even though they shivered whenever they stood still.

Luckily when you are surrounded by 9 other guys and a load of snow, you don’t stand still for long.

“YEOL, MOVE IT” Jongin shouted at his tall friend who was currently blocking his view towards Luhan who was now hiding behind a big bush, thinking no one could see him.

“Wha_”

*SMASH*

Chanyeol didn’t really move at first. He just stood there with a face full of snow.

Once he actually reacted he shook his head and tried to remove the white substance from his eyes and nose.

“JONGIN YOU !”

“You were in my way” The shorter just shrugged and went over to surprise Luhan who was still convinced that no one knew where he was.

Once Chanyeol’s vision was once again clear he heard a familiar snickering behind him and then felt a ball of snow hit his back.

“Gotcha!” Baekhyun laughed and started to run when he was the taller move forward.

“YA! I’ll get revenge”

Baekhyun just ran all he could until he felt something wrap around his arm and tip him over.

They found themselves face to face, both covered in snow.

Both were fighting for their lives, throwing handfuls of snow in the others direction, hoping that at least some of it would make it to the target.

Baekhyun squealed when the snow made it into his coat and hit his bar back as Chanyeol got him pushed down on his back.

“Gotcha!” Chanyeol chuckled very satisfied with his own effort as he was now on all four holding Baekhyun onto the cold ground.

Baekhyun squirmed on the ground trying to free his hands that were held down, but at the same time he was laughing uncontrollably stuttering something about giving up.

Chanyeol couldn’t help but laugh as well at the cute elder boy who was struggling under his hold.

“We should head home now” Chanyeol said once they had both stopped laughing.

And Baek quickly agreed considering the fact that most of their clothes were now drenched and they were both freezing to death.

They had gone quite far into the forest and they hadn’t paid much attention to where they had went, but heading back they realized that the terrain here was very uneven and eventually Baekhyun ended up stumbling over a big rock as he was dragging Chanyeol.

“WHA_ YOU OKAY?” Chanyeol immediately jumped to the smaller boy’s side and tried to help him.

Baekhyun just sat up and tried to get rid of the snow that was now all over him. He whined slightly when Chanyeol helped him on his feet.

“Are you hurt?”

“..Uh… nooo..” He was lying, and Chanyeol knew that, they had after all been friends for many years and he knew when the elder boy was trying to trick him.

“Where does it hurt?”

“It doesn’t!”

“Okay then come” Chanyeol walked a few long slow steps before he heard the whines again.

“Wait… I.. it might..”

“Yes?” Baekhyun thought Chanyeol looked totally arrogant, but he was probably in his right to, since he was once aging right.

“My foot hurts” Baekhyun pouted and tried to look angry but was enlightened a bit when a big grin formed on the taller boy’s face.

“Here, I’ll help you”

Baekhyun wasn’t all over the idea when Chanyeol suggested that he could carry him, but at some point he had to realize that he couldn’t walk either.

The walk home was a bit awkward, but Baekhyun found an odd pleasure in being pressed against his band mate and he quickly settled himself and snuggled his face onto Chanyeol’s fluffy knitted scarf.

Luckily they weren’t that far from the cabin and they were back within a good 5 minutes.

When they did return Chanyeol found that Baekhyun had actually managed to fall asleep during the short trip, and he couldn’t help but giggle at the cute noises Baek made just beside his ear.

He managed to get the boy down on the big couch without waking him.

He carefully pried off the mittens and the big winter coat, moving Baekhyun as little as possible.

“chaun~ah”

“Hmm”

“u’m cold…” Chanyeol couldn’t help but smile at the cute displeased frown that the elder boy was showing, and to be honest, even after getting out of his own wet clothes, he was too still cold as hell.

After a few awkwardly staring moments he finally decided to lie down on the couch beside the somewhat sleeping boy.

He didn’t really knew where to put his hands but eventually he felt Baekhyun’s back against his chest and it seemed awfully natural to him when his long arms wrapped themselves around the smaller.

He felt Baekhyun cold fingers caress the inside of his hand and finally those slender cold fingers interlocking with his own. It felt awfully natural, and Baek’s fingers seemed as if they were made to fir in between Chanyeol’s, and soon they both felt the other’s hand heat up.

So they just stayed there both secretly hoping that the others wouldn’t return too soon and ruin the blissful moment.

AN: First one... Ah, it's not great, but I'm not too good with fluff, so i think it's okay, I'm improving ^^'
