Satzu oneshot (angst)

“I will always love you even if your heart belongs to someone else now.” She whispered as she kissed her ex-girlfriends forehead, slipping out of the room quickly before she wakes up. Or before other members come back to see her in her room. She went back to her own room silently, letting the tears drop from her face because no one was there to see it. She crawled back into her bed and covered herself in the blankets and silently sob her heart out. It was painful to be even near her but it was more painful to see her and another member together. Especially since her now new “girlfriend” was her roommate. She would constantly come over to their room. They don’t really do anything but it hurt to see her ex hugging or holding someone else’s hand and not hers. It wrecked her so much because no one else knew. No one knew the approximately 8 month relationship they had with each other. It was kept a secret, a wish she had requested upon. Yet she made her relationship now public to the members. It drove her crazy. She thought about telling Jihyo since she was the leader, when she slept over at her house but her ex somehow knew and stopped her. She was the only one that was able to read her like a book. She was the only one who she opened her heart to and helped her to get out of her bubble.

Tears wouldn’t stop as she thought about her. But she couldn’t think of anything else but her. She was always on her mind 24/7. She sometimes wished she could go back in time so she could stop herself from falling in love with her. To be in a relationship with her, so that she wouldn’t have to go through the pain she was going through now. Once when she thought she was over her and started to open up to more of the other members, she came back. Well, not literally come back as her girlfriend but started clinging around her again. It confused her so much since she was being ignored the past months. They did have some camera action but she knew her ex did it just for the fans. When they were back at the dorms, they had almost zero interaction. Since they used to be so close, the other members also thought it was odd but didn’t object anything.

Because the two announced their relationship. They all thought that I was just jealous because my best friend got taken away. Well, they were half right. My best friend and my girlfriend were both taken. By a certain Unnie who I respect a lot. I don’t blame her. She knows nothing of our relationship together unless she told her but I doubt that by the way she hangs out around me. If she knew, I don’t think she’ll be able to stand being around me. I don’t blame my ex either. It’s her choice to choose who she wants to be with. I wish she told me earlier though. Not by setting a bomb and exploding it suddenly right in front of my face. Till this day it still hurts to remember that day. Seeing her kiss someone right in front of me, breaking up with me and then announcing her new relationship, it all happened on the same day. That day was the worst day of my life and still is. As much as I want to forget about it, I can’t bear but to remember it every time I see her or her girlfriend, or when I’m alone like this. It hurts so freakin bad. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn’t hear the door knock and one of my roommates entering. I guess as soon as she opened the door she heard me crying softly so the next thing I knew, someone was hugging me from over the covers.

“It’s ok Tzuyu. Cry all you want. It’s just me. No one else is home right now.” She told her as she patted Tzuyu’s head softly.

“Thank you Chaeyoung,” Was all she was able to muster out before crying her eyes out again. She was surprised with herself that she still had tears that were able to fall out of her despite all the crying she did earlier. Tzuyu guessed that she had been keeping the tears in for too long that there was so much to spill. She was also grateful that Chaeyoung was the one comforting her. Only Chaeyoung being the same age as her would not ask what was wrong or to stop crying and Tzuyu was grateful for that. At the same time she couldn’t help but wonder where her ex-girlfriend went. Since today only the 2 of them didn’t have schedules.

Chaeyoung was the first to finish her schedules and came back to the dorms first. As she was about to enter the dorm, Sana Unnie came out telling her she would go buy some food. Chaeyoung then remembered, it was only Tzuyu and Sana that day in the dorms, she rushed inside and sprinted to her room. She opened the door slowly to find Tzuyu under the covers crying softly. She quickly went over to her and hugged her from over the covers. Chaeyoung knew why she was crying. It was most likely because of Sana Unnie. She never asked but she knew the two had something going on. It hurt her to see Tzuyu like this. She understood her pain too because Chaeyoung also liked someone. But that someone was taken. By the one Tzuyu loved. She wanted to share the pain with Tzuyu but she knew Tzuyu didn’t want to really talk about it But she also knew Tzuyu was at the end of her limits. She was totally broken. SO even though she knew Tzuyu would despise it, she decided to talk to her.

“Tzu-Tzuyu?” Chaeyoung called hesitantly.

“Y-yeah?” Tzuyu responded weakly.

“Do you want to talk about what happened? It might ease the pain a little if you let it all out?”

Tzuyu shook her head no and Chaeyoung sighed.

“Tzuyu, I know you’re thinking that depending on us will be bothersome but that’s not true. It’s the opposite. We’re more worried that you don’t talk to us and keep it in yourself until you break. Don’t do that Tzuyu, we’re all here for you. At least talk to me Tzuyu. I won’t tell the other members what you tell me if you don’t want to. I can help you Chewy because I’m going through the same exact pain you are right now.” Chaeyoung whispered the last part softly.

Tzuyu looked up in surprise. What did Chaeyoung just say? And did she just call her Chewy? Cause Chaeyoung rarely calls her that. Tzuyu had all these thoughts in her mind. They were soon interrupted though by Chaeyoung who started talking again.

“You finally looked up. I like Dahyun Unnie the way you like Sana Unnie so I understand how you feel.” Chaeyoung smiled bitterly.

“I thought I was the only one suffering. I’m sorry Chaeyoungie for not realizing sooner!” Tzuyu said enveloping her in a hug.

“I hide it better than you do. This is a secret between you and me, ok Yoda?” Chaeyoung smirked.

“Arraso Tiger!” Tzuyu saluted as they parted from their hug.

“Ah! Mina Unnie sort of knows too so if I’m not around you should go to her. She’s the most calm and composed member so I think she can help us out.” Chaeyoung added.

“Thank you Chaeyoung.” Tzuyu smiled sincerely. Chaeyoung smiled back, finally able to see the bright smile of Tzuyu’s she hasn’t seen in so long.

“Of course. Now do you want to explain why you were crying on your day off?” Chaeyoung said with a stern face. Tzuyu couldn’t help but laugh which made Chaeyoung pout.

She then explained everything to Chaeyoung. From their interactions from sixteen, to their 8 month relationship, to their break up all the way until now. When she finished everything, after crying and stopping here and there, she was surprised to see Chaeyoung crying in front of her. The Son Chaeyoung that was known not to cry much was literally streaming tears. Not like those small teary moments in front of the camera.

It broke Chaeyoung’s heart to see Tzuyu breaking down earlier, but it shattered when she heard the whole story. She was sad and completely overwhelmed and had no idea Tzuyu was going through this much pain. However, it also made her mad that Tzuyu kept this pain to herself all this time. She hugged Tzuyu tightly, trying to convey all her feelings into that hug. To reassure Tzuyu that she definitely was not alone and that she would have her back whenever and wherever she would need it.

“Tzuyu, next time just come with me to my schedule if you have to be alone with her at home. Talk to me ok? I’ll try to help you as much as possible.”

“Thank you my chingu Chaengie. You should talk to me when you’re in trouble too ok? I think we’re very similar that we don’t really express our feelings well.”

“That’s why we have each other.”

The two smiled at each other. Tzuyu felt a lot better after talking to Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung also felt better and was glad Tzuyu decided to open up to her finally and talk out her feelings.

Another short one shot :) Double update since I haven't been updating in so long sorry about that! I'm most likely going to make a part 2 for this story. Do you guys want it to just stay as angst? Or do you guys want Chaeyu and Saida, or Satzu and Dubchaeng together?
