"This happened when I was 9.. I had run away from my duties at the castle and decided that I wanted to play in the garden.

I stopped to think, trying to remember his face. It was blurry, I couldn't unblock it.

I shook my head and continued, "Soon I had wandered off into the woods. I didn't know I had gone that far, I was following a butterfly. When the butterfly flew away I noticed my surroundings. It wasn't home. I wasn't supposed to step into the woods. Dad had said it was dangerous."

I took a deep breath. "Then I turned around to walk back when someone grabbed my wrist. I looked at him.

He was a vampire but he was different, he had red eyes. He said to me, "Come here princess, don't you want to play with us?"

I shook my head to him. "I just want to go home, I'm not supposed to be here." and a tear fell from my eye.

He had the nerve to act like he cared and wiped it away from my face." I clenched my fist.

"That was when he called his buddies over. They formed a circle around me. And used their long nails to cut up my arms. They didn't bite me but I didn't know why. After they cut up my arms, they each took turns and brought my arms to their lips to the blood and close the wound."

I shuddered at the memory. Dongho held his hand over mine as I continued. "One by one, each of them grew stronger with each sip they had of me. I grew weak, but I called for help in my mind."

"You know why, they got stronger right?" I asked them. Only Soohyun nodded, Kiseop couldn't bear to look at me. "I guess you're the younger ones that didn't live in Amor Sanguinis so you don't know the stories." I looked at the other 5 confused faces.

"The old stories go like this when a lower vampire drinks from the crown family, our blood makes them stronger. Because the crown family has the purest blood. All the other vampires are made. The crown family is born vampires." The 5 boys' jaws dropped.

"That's why the crown family have guardians. I never knew there were so many. But I knew I had. I had one when I was little he was nice to me.. I remember that but I can't remember his face or his name." I scrunched my face up trying to remember.

Everyone was there watching me, eyes glistening at me over the story.

Dongho was the first to move and pulled me in a for hug, "Noona I'm sorry you had to go through that," he told me.

I hugged him back and smiled, "Dongho don't worry about it. It wasn't anyone's fault."

I thought no one in this room at least.
