He laid his chin on top of her bare shoulders as he whispered into her ears “Missing something?”

Taeyeon felt chills tingling down her spine as she got turned around, having her eyes fixed on the guy who she was waiting for the whole night. 

Taeyeon gasped in surprise but before she could say anything, Baekhyun pulled her closer as he gently pressed his lips on hers, melting her heart within split seconds. 

She felt like no other things could make her night more perfect than this. He was the only person she was waiting for, the only person she wished to be with right now. And there he was, kissing her right in the middle of the garden filled with scents of fresh blossomed flowers. His embrace was just as perfect as she knew it would be and she really missed it. From what she remembered, the last time they hugged was during the night of their star-gazing date. 

As they pulled apart, Taeyeon’s eyes were filled with tears as she looked right into his dark brown eyes. Isn’t he just as flawless as ever, she thought. 

“Surprise” He finally whispered as Taeyeon flung her arms around his neck, hugging him ever so tightly, as if it was the last time she could do so. 

“I missed you Baek” Tears started streaming down her face as Baekhyun release her arms and held her hands tightly with his beautiful fingers. 

“바보야 (Pabo-ya)...don’t cry, I’m here now…” He said as Taeyeon sobbed. “Don’t let your make up smear alright? You look gorgeous tonight” He smiled making her do the same. 

“Dance with me?” He held out his hands with a slight bow, like how princes in fairy tales usually does.

She nodded and accepted his offer. 

Taeyeon placed her palms on top of his left shoulder, feeling the material of his expensive tux, while his hands landed on her well-curved waist. They then gripped each other’s free hand, positioning themselves in the posture which Hyoyeon taught them in the first ever dance lesson of the semester.
