Because I Love You (Chapter 22) 

Taeyeon’s heart was pumping extremely fast when she looked up seeing the most dangerous boy in school, Tao, smirking at her face. 

She didn’t know what was going to happen to her as she was too weak to defend herself, knowing that Tao is a master of Wushu. 

“Well well well, look who do we have here early in the morning, Ms President.” He lifted her chin with two fingers while his face moved closer towards hers as if he was going to kiss her. She turned her head to the side and shut her eyes tightly, praying hard that he wouldn’t hurt her. She was terrified at that moment and she was about to scream at the top of her lungs for help. 

But before he could get any closer, Tao was pulled away from her within split seconds by someone she couldn’t see clearly. Taeyeon was freed as she heard a familiar voice screaming at Tao, but she was still rendered motionless due to horror. 

“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!” Baekhyun looked down at Tao who was lying half dead on the ground from his well-skilled Hapkido kick. 

The dangerous boy finally got defeated as he limped his way out of Baekhyun’s sight in fear.

Baekhyun then turned his attention to the girl who was in shock. 

“Are you okay Taeng?” He held his arms around her shoulders as he asked consolingly. 

Taeyeon nodded with her stiff neck as her face was still as pale as a ghost from the horrifying incident. 

“Don’t worry. Everything is okay now. You’re lucky I’m up early today.” He said as he wiped of the tears at the corner of her eyes with his slenderly long and beautiful fingers. 

Taeyeon then felt her knees starting to weaken as she collapsed. But Baekhyun managed to catch her before she fell.
