Because I Love You (Chapter 19)

Taeyeon was surprised but she still greeted him as usual “Hey Baek” She let out a genuine smile.

“Hey. Where should we go?” He said as he replied to her smile. 

“Well you decide, where ever you feel comfortable with.” 

“Are you hungry?” He asked.

“No not really. You?” 

“Me neither. Why not let’s just go to the coffee shop for a chat then?” He suggested.

“Sounds good.” Taeyeon agreed. 

So they both walked without speaking a word to the Starbucks located right opposite their Academy. 

They ordered their drinks respectively and settled comfortably on the springy soft sofa provided. 

“So what’s up Baek?” Taeyeon broke the ice between them as she took a sip of her coffee. 

“Well….can you promise me this will be a secret between you and I?”

“Yea my lips are sealed. But if you regret and decide now to not share it I’m totally fine.” Taeyeon acted like she didn’t want to know. 

But Baekhyun ignored her second sentence and started to talk.

“So you know about Yoona and I. We’ve been going out since day 1.”

Taeyeon gulped as she knew what was coming wasn’t going to be good to her. But she just nodded her head silently, allowing him to continue.

“Well…She broke up with me last night.”

Taeyeon was in shock as she almost choked on her coffee but she didn’t want to make it obvious. 

So she asked with an indifferent tone “Why what happened?”

“You see, it’s been 2 weeks since the production practices start and ever since, she never bothered to make time for me and somehow my sixth sense tell me that there’s something going on between her and Sehun.”
