Because I Love You (Chapter 16)

Taeyeon was, as usual, not paying attention to where she was walking to. She was too busy having her eyes stuck to the papers she held on her hands regarding the production ticket sale. 

She was extremely stressed as her school work was overloading yet she held the responsibility to direct a production and organize a ticket selling booth with her team. 

Her foot steps were the only sound she could hear before she heard some sobbing noises coming from somewhere not so far away. Curiously, she looked up and saw the guy she fell in love with leaning against the wall with bubbles of tears rolling from the corner of his eye, yet looking at her direction. 

She immediately looked away and blushed, though she was desperate to know the reason why he was crying. 

But to avoid herself from being obvious, she pretended that she was fixing her hair while looking down as she walked towards his direction, since it was the only way to get back to her dorm. 

As she got closer to him she forced out a smile from her stiffened face though it was burning flames inside her to know what made a guy like him cry. She acted like she didn’t know he was crying as she turned her back towards him, looking back at her paper and took her first step up the stairs. 

“Yah Kim Taeyeon!” He called her by her full name as they were in fact already close enough to do so. 

She turned around in surprise not uttering a single word, but her eyes were wide open, yet it was difficult to tell Baekhyun’s expression. 

“Are you just going to leave a crying friend like that?” He lowered his tone. 

“Wae? You’re crying?” She faked an innocent tone as if she really didn’t know he was crying. 

“Are you blind?” Baekhyun got a little mad as all he needed at that moment was some comfort, yet Taeyeon ignored him just like that. But the truth was, he didn’t know the whole story behind the reason why Taeyeon tried to avoid talking to him. 

“Mian…I was too caught up with my stuff. It’s been a stressful term form me. What’s wrong chingu-ya?” Taeyeon finally gave him the respond he wanted to hear. 

“Can you come here for a while?” He whispered as Taeyeon backed down her steps from the flights of staircase to get to a spot where she was about a meter away from him. 

“Jebal… What’s your probelm? Come closer!” His sighed in frustration while hand signaled as his tone still remained almost inaudible, but his voice sounded a little husky.
