Sungmin’s POV

“So where should we go first?” Yesung asked us as a maid came to set down his breakfast in front of him.

 

 

The six of us woke up early in the morning so we could start our Jeju Island adventure. And boy, what a night that was. Kyuhyun and I argued for almost half of the night about who would sleep on the bed. He suggested that both of us should sleep on the bed, but I was too stubborn and made him sleep on the floor. The size of his pout last night was unbelievable.

 

 

Anyway, like I was saying, we all woke up early to discuss where we should go first (more like Donghae was screaming out through the entire house telling us to get up like an impatient kid). Once we were all awake, the maids hurriedly sat us down at the dining table and served us breakfast, Western-style: two sunny-side up eggs, hash browns, three strips of bacon, two sausage links, and four toasts served with strawberry jam with a tall glass of orange juice on the side. If this is what heaven is like, I'd never want to leave!

 

 

“Why not visit one of the natural wonders?” Eunhyuk suggested as he looked through a pamphlet, taking a bite out of his eggs.

 

 

“I wanna see the Gimnyeong Maze Park!” Donghae exclaimed as he also took a look at Eunhyuk’s pamphlet.

 

 

“Where do you want to go, Wookie?” Yesung asked Ryeowook.

 

 

“U-um, I want to see the… Teddy Bear Museum…” he answered softly and Yesung couldn’t help but pinch his cheeks.

 

 

“Kyuhyun? Sungmin? Where would you guys like to go?”

 

 

“We want to go to the beach, right Minnie?” Kyuhyun asked as he looked straight at me. The awkward eye contact made me blush a little as I slowly nodded my head.

 

 

“Let’s go to the maze first!”

 

 

“No, the natural wonders!”

 

 

“Alright, just calm down! Whatever shows up first while we’re driving is the place we’ll go to first, okay?” Yesung suggested. Something told me that he doesn’t really mean what he says.

 

 

Let our Jeju Island adventure begin!

1.     Teddy Bear Museum

 

I knew it. I knew Yesung would choose whatever Ryeowook wanted. And I knew once we came here, Eunhyuk and Donghae would start sulking because they walked behind us since they didn’t get to go where they really wanted to go.

 

 

“Yesung, look! They look so cute!” Ryeowook exclaimed as the couple walked in front of us, enjoying the museum. I smiled at them. They seem to be having a lot of fun just being together.

 

 

The optimistic couple walked in the front and the sulking couple walked in the back while I was just walking in the middle of them. I would say Kyuhyun was next to me, but he’s not. Right when we got in, he walked off somewhere. saying he’d catch up with us. I wondered where he went.

 

 

Suddenly, I felt something touch my head. I turned around and saw a stuffed bear in front of my face.

 

 

“Surprise!” Kyuhyun chuckled.

 

 

“Yah! Where did you head off to?” I asked.

 

 

“I went to the gift shop and got you this.”

 

 

“Y-you got this for… me?” I stuttered as I took the bear from him. The bear was had white fur and had a pink t-shirt on it.

 

 

“Yeah. I had a feeling you’d like it. It’s cute, right?”

 

 

“Yeah. It’s really cute.” I couldn’t help but blush but smile at his generosity. I couldn’t believe he actually got me this.

 

 

“It’s cute… just like you!”

 

 

“Hey!”

 

 

“Mehrong!” He stuck his tongue out at me before catching up with the others, leaving me standing by myself, pouting.

 

 

Aish, that kid!

 

 

2.     Gimnyeong Maze Park

 

Eunhyuk’s POV

I might've just ended up sulking for the entire day. Yesung must have hated me today if he wouldn’t even let me see some natural wonders. Instead, we went to where Donghae wanted to go: the Gimnyeong Maze Park. I really don’t understand why Donghae wanted to go here in the first place. It’s just a maze. There’s nothing really fun about it.

 

 

But for some reason, the five of them seem to be having a lot of fun getting lost in this place.

 

 

“M-maybe the exit is this way?”

 

 

“No, it’s this way!”

 

 

“Just follow the trail, you guys…”

 

 

“No! Just follow me! I know where I’m going!”

 

 

At this rate, Yesung was just going to get us even more lost.

 

 

Just calm down, Eunhyuk. You’ll be out of this place soon. Then we can finally-

 

 

Are those strawberries I see!? Yes, they are! Finally, something good happened!

 

 

I quickly walked towards the person who was giving out free strawberries and got as much as I could in a bag. You know me, I could never say no to delicious strawberries! And I was going to eat them all! Muwahahahahaha!

 

 

“Guys, look! I found some strawberries!” I exclaimed as I walked back to where I was with a smile on my face. But that smile instantly disappeared when I saw that they weren’t there anymore.

 

 

Oh no, don’t tell me I lost them! Me and my stupid addiction for strawberries! I started walking through the maze while calling out their names, but I got nothing in response. Now I was really lost!

 

 

“Guys! Where did you go!?” I yelled as loud as I could. I couldn’t hear a single voice. This is just like the haunted house all over again!

 

 

I began running on the trail to see if it would lead me to the exit, but I kept taking too many turns, making myself even more lost. I I was all alone with no help. What if nobody finds me? What if I’ll stay here forever and never get out? I don’t have enough strawberries to eat! I’m going to starve to death! Somebody help me please! Get me out of here!

 

 

“DONGHAE!” I screamed, hoping that he would hear me. He heard me once, so maybe he’ll hear me again. Please Donghae, save me before I die here!

 

 

“Hyukjae!” I heard a voice call out my name. Was it really Donghae?

 

 

“Donghae!?” I tried calling out again. I started walking towards the sound of the voice that was calling my name.

 

 

“Hyukjae, where are you!?” the voice called out again, and this time for sure I knew it was Donghae.

 

 

“I’m over here!” I yelled out, hoping he heard me. In a matter of seconds, I felt arms wrap around my waist and someone pressing them against my back.

 

 

“Thank goodness I found you, Hyukjae,” I heard Donghae’s voice whisper into my ear. “You sure do get lost a lot.”

 

 

“I’m sorry…” I apologized and pouted. I guess I really do get myself lost pretty often.

 

 

“Where did you go anyway?” he asked as he let me go and I turned around to face him.

 

 

“Someone was giving out free strawberries…” I shamefully said as I showed him the bag of deliciousness.

 

 

And he bursted out laughing.

 

 

“That was it!? Hyukkie, you could’ve just asked me if you wanted some. I already got three bags of them for you!” he laughed.

 

 

“W-well, I didn’t know you already had them!” I pouted some more. He just kept laughing as he took my hand and led me out of the maze. I couldn’t help but intertwine our fingers and smile a little.

 

 

Thanks for saving me again, Donghae.

 

 

And for getting me three bags of tasty strawberries! I feel like I could never go hungry again!

 

 

3.     Jungmun Beach

 

Yesung’s POV

“FISH. LOOK AT ALL THE FISH HYUKKIE!” Donghae exclaimed as he ran straight towards the ocean.

 

 

I noticed Eunhyuk sulking all day and wanted to take him to see one of the natural wonders, but Kyuhyun suggested ending the day at the beach for Sungmin’s sake. It didn’t seem to bother him much since he and Donghae are having fun swimming.

 

 

This part of Jungmun Beach was private, so only the six of us were allowed to be here. Eunhyuk and Donghae decided to go swimming and Kyuhyun and Sungmin wanted to build sandcastles. My Ryeowook and I wanted to just sit on the sand and relax.

 

 

“Look! Everyone is having a lot of fun!” Ryeowook pointed out and smiled.

 

 

“Yeah. They’re all being a bunch of kids having the time of their lives,” I added.

 

 

“I’m really glad Sungmin hyung is having fun though. It makes me feel relieved that he’s smiling so much. Especially since he’s never been to the beach before. It was a good idea that Kyuhyun suggested to come here today.”

 

 

I couldn’t help but think the reason why Kyuhyun wanted to bring Sungmin here is because he already likes him so much.

 

 

“Yesung, does Kyuhyun like Sungmin?” he asked and I nodded my head.

 

 

“How did you know?”

 

 

“I’ve always noticed it. Ever since Sungmin hyung’s mother died, Kyuhyun seems to want to do everything for him. I can see it in his eyes. Sungmin hyung probably doesn’t want to admit it right now, but I’m sure he likes Kyuhyun a lot too. I can see it in his eyes as well, but he’s probably fighting with himself. I really want the two of them to be happy. I wish they’d just fall in love with each other already.”

 

 

“I don’t know if it’ll be possible.”

 

 

“Why not?”

 

 

“Kyuhyun said he can’t fall in love with Sungmin. He wouldn’t tell me why.” Ryeowook suddenly frowned as he laid his head on top of my shoulder. I wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him closer.

 

 

“I think he should. I don’t see anything wrong with falling in love with the one and only person you want to be with. That goes for Sungmin too. I believe they’ll eventually realize that they want to be with each other no matter what happens. I want them to be happy like us.” I smiled and kissed the top of his head.

 

 

“Hey guys, look! Look at our sandcastle!” Sungmin shouted, waving his arms and pointing towards the sandcastle that he and Kyuhyun made. They smiled at each other before continuing to make it bigger.

 

 

“See? Why can’t they see that they love each other and be together already?” Ryeowook pouted and I kissed his lips before pulling him even closer.

 

 

“They will eventually. We’ll make sure it happens.”

 

 

Sungmin’s POV

“This was the best day ever!” I exhaled before I threw myself onto the bed. Our Jeju Island adventure was finally over, and now it was time to rest.

 

 

“Don’t come to a conclusion just yet. We’re here for a whole week, so we got more things left to do here,” Kyuhyun said as he came out of the bathroom.

 

 

“Which means there are more sandcastles to make!” I exclaimed as I sat up. Kyuhyun just chuckled before turning off the light and lying on the floor with one pillow and a blanket.

 

 

“That also means we have to get up bright and early again,” Kyuhyun added before turning away from me.

 

 

“What are you doing?” I asked.

 

 

“Going to sleep. What does it look like?” I began to pout again. I couldn't let Kyuhyun sleep on the floor again. It just wasn’t right.

 

 

“K-Kyuhyun?”

 

 

“Yeah?”

 

 

“You know… y-you can s-sleep on the bed w-with m-me tonight… i-if you want to…” I stuttered softly. Instantly, Kyuhyun stood up and got into the bed with me. I lifted up the blanket for the both of us to get under and faced the wall so I wouldn’t have to look at him.

 

 

“Thanks, Minnie,” he whispered before turning away from me as well and falling asleep.

 

 

“No, Kyu, thank you. For giving me an amazing day today,” I whispered, knowing that he wouldn’t hear me.

 

 

Was it just me?

 

 

Or could I practically sense a smile form on his face?

I typed this out at the last minute cause I have to wake up early in the morning. I feel like this has more Kyumin in it than the other couples. Does this chapter even make sense? Idk, I just needed to put a big ol' blob of fluff in here x) And yes, all of these places that they went to are real. If you ever get the chance to visit Jeju Island, go visit those places!
