Moon Ah Reum's office reeked of fragrant brewed coffee and therapeutic mint essence. Her office in SM Entertainment was indeed very Ah Reum- ivory walls, matte wood flooring and minimalistic furniture, but all that aesthetic sense went unnoticed by Chanyeol,

as he wasy busy looking at Ah Reum with prying eyes.

A usual Friday night for Chanyeol consisted of either fine wine or Scottish whiskey in a private bar, but there he was, in his towering glory, in front of Moon Ah Reum, in her clean-as-water office. 

Quite honestly, going to see Ah Reum was not included in his plans. Their demanding Manager Seunghwan just pulled off a classic boss move by asking Chanyeol to investigate on Ah Reum and Ji Hoon's very obvious silent treatment. So with that command, Chanyeol bid his wine and whiskey dreams away, but the odds were in his favor tonight. Moon Ah Reum had just invited him for a drink! 

While he took the time to scrutinize Ah Reum's unblemished face, he also took the time to accept the offer. 

"Allow me to you as you drink the shame away, ma'am. But let me warn you." Chanyeol mumbled with pure conviction, taking big, wild steps towards the uptight lady in front of him. When he had reached approximately five inches away from her face, he squeezed her shoulders with both arms.

While he was anticipating Ah Reum to flinch or shiver at his uninvited move, the publicist just flat out stared at him, cool, collected and calm. The more Ah Reum displayed control and coolness, the higher his need to expose her secret.

Hell, Chanyeol was actually the one who wanted to tremble at his nearness. "I have to warn you that I'm not gonna comfort you and say that it's okay. I don't work that way, sweetheart. I'm not one for sentimental sht 'cause at the end of the day, the pain of being rejected stays, right?"

To describe Chanyeol aside from assertive, he would be the most blunt man you'll ever meet. He won't romanticize nor sugarcoat words that intend to cut deep, and he was not willing to offer emotional anecdotes simply because he's just like that. Direct and honest.

"Safe to say that I do not cry over spilled milk. You might do the crying,though. You should cry over the fact that you have not found Ms. Bed Friend." And that was Ah Reum's no-nonsense reply.

Chanyeol felt his jaw locking over Ah Reum's sensible reply. He hated how she could manipulate the situation and drive him to shame. Ugh, this woman! Time to make a proper comeback!

"No bed friend yet 'cause no one can keep up with my needs. I want it good and regular, for four months." Chanyeol answered, proud of his raging ual drive.

Instead of actually looking impressed at Chanyeol's stamina, Ah Reum shot him a disinterested look and proceeded to tell Chanyeol that his mobile phone was ringing.

Chanyeol pressed the receiver against his ear as he listened to his Sehun's urgent-packed voice.

"What?!?! Are you fcking kidding me? Tomorrow's our guesting for MBC! That can't be!" Chanyeol yelled over the phone.

To cut to the chase, Ah Reum and Chanyeol's promising drinking session was canceled by that single phone call.

"Suho hyung's got splinters on his feet. He slipped in our dorm, and tomorrow's our live recording for MBC. He cannot not show up! It's important, and Manager-nim won't take any of his sht if he finds about Suho's injury- DARN! Ah Reum, we have an emergency, don't mock me by driving at 20 kilometers per hour! We have to remedy that grandpa Suho! You know that driving at a slow speed drives me nuts!" Chanyeol's fury has spoken as he removed his seatbealt inside Ah Reum's car.

Why had he agreed not to be on the steering wheel? Oh of couse, it was Ah Reum being considerate enough to take Chanyeol to the dorm, using her car. Sure, Chanyeol could have taken his own sportscar on any day, but seeing that the sasaengs were hiding under his car, he gave in to Ah Reum and her car. And that woman would not let him drive!

"My car, Chanyeol, my driving. This is not a driving class, kindly stop complaining about my speed. And please, Suho won't die of splinters, so calm down. We're gonna get there in time. Now, fasten that seatbelt, will you?" Ah Reum told Chanyeol without a trace of panic.
