[Henry's POV]

"Gosh, that was embarrassing..."

I sighed to myself.

To actually think of her as a guy. Physically, well, you can't blame me. I hope I didn't hurt her.

I was jogging my way back to my house still carrying the empty cup of bubble tea in my hand.

I was staring at it, actually.

She has made quite an impression to me. Whenever I see anything that connects to bubble tea, she's the one I remember even though I've only met her yesterday.

Amber.

The mug of coffee on my counter had gone cold. Just the way I liked it.

I picked up the mug and began consuming the cold caffeine.

[Amber's P O V]

"Get yourself togetheeeer"

I slapped both my cheeks.

I was lying in bed, fresh from the shower.

*buzz buzz*

My phone vibrated on my chest.

"finally"

I was waiting for a text from anyone. I need a distraction from all the tension I felt tightening around my chest.

It's a text from Victoria

'Krystal's got a photoshoot today. Let's get together when we're all free :) '

damn.

"Why? I just wanted to do something."

I'll text Eric.

'yo, man. coffee? i want some.'

'Sure thing :D '

'I know a place. '

It was at the tea shop where Henry and I bought some bubble tea.

"they serve great coffee!" Eric commented after taking a sip.

"my first time having coffee here, actually." I laughed, having my own cup of coffee.

"How'dya discover the place?"

"oh, y'know. Morning strolls and whatnot." I put down the cup of coffee with cute flowers embossed on it. I let my fingers trace the intricate designs, zoning out again.

"yah! haha, are you even listening?" Eric was snapping his fingers at my face.

I shook my head

"Sorry, got a little distracted there. The cups are so detailed."

Eric gave me that 'seriously?' look.

"... er, what were you saying? ha ha"

Eric just laughed at me and I jokingly scowled at him.

"I said, I didn't know you're a morning person now." He managed to say while wiping the tear on the corner of his eye with his index finger.

"ah, yeah. Trying to shake off my insomnia by tiring myself early in the morning." 

Hey, it's not like I space out on purpose.

"aww, now that's cute. THE boyish Amber Liu? Blushing because of flowery cups"

He wasn't done laughing. My face warmed up even more.

But I will be missing this. He's been very busy and he's still going to be with his music gigs. He managed to showcase his music skills at a party one time, and he's gained confidence since then.

"Alright, I'm sorry. But I gotta say, that was quite cute. Don't zone out too much, though" He said, reaching out to mess my hair.

"yaaaah" I tried to comb my locks with my fingers.

Then this certain sign caught my eye. It was sitting there by the counter.

"Hey, look, Eric. Turns out you don't have to go venue-hopping! They're looking for resident performers"

I put my hand on his cheek to turn his head to the sign I was pointing at.
