My head throbbed as I flopped myself on my bed, shoes still on.

"uuugh... brain and body freeze."

I massaged my temples and closed my eyes.

[buzz, buzz]

my phone vibrated against the side table.

7:00am

I scrambled to a crawling position to reach for the buzzing contraption.

It was a text from Victoria.

'Wanna hang out later?'

She didn't tell but i knew I wasn't the only one to receive this text.

I knew Luna, Krystal and Sulli got the same message in their inboxes. It's a habit of Victoria's and we found out through fumbling with each other's phones.

I sent a smile emoji as my response.

'What does that mean?'

Her immediate reply.

'I'm kinda worn out at the moment. But I'll see what I can do.'

'WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO? OMG' this response was faster than the first one.

'I jogged.'

'oh. You can rest today. Let's hang out tomorrow, instead. :) '

after sending it, i plopped my hand and let go of my phone. Closed my eyes, drifted to sleep.

Those smiling eyes looked at me as I dreamt.

11:00am

The heat from my window woke me up, i was sweating through my forehead.

I sat up realizing I still had my shoes on. My dogs gathering at my feet, whimpering.

"awww... I'm sorry. You guys hungry?"

I fed them and went on to feed myself.

Shoes still on. I stared at them, chewing my meal.

maybe being a morning person isn't so bad afterall

I thought to myself, not realizing i was smiling.

"Yeah, 'dude.' I guess I will see you around."

my cheeks warmed up so i mentally slapped myself.

Head buzzed. And his smiling eyes flashed in my mind once more.

The anticipation for tomorrow, growing inside.
