Phones and Flash Drives
I KnowKrystal woke up to the sound of her phone’s incessant buzzing against her nightstand.
The bright light emitting from her screen burned her eyes and bathed her dark and quiet bedroom with its, well, light.
Her eyebrows furrowed at the multiple number of messages a certain actress was sending her at 3:48 in the morning.
-Soojung.
-Soojung. This is urgent.
-Wake up.
-I’m having diarrhea. No toilet paper.
-Kidding. But still urgent.
Having no idea what has gotten you to practically spam her in this ungodly hour, Krystal decided to call you. You picked up after the first ring, much to her sleepy amusement.
“Soojung.”
“Hm?”
“Have you seen it?”
“What?”
“There’s a fanfic of us.”
“What.”
“There’s only one though. I’m both amazed yet a little disappointed.”
“Hmmm.”
“Do you want to read it together?”
“Okay.”
“I’ll download the page then.”
“Knock yourself out.”
“Okay, good night.”
The call ended and just like that, Soojung went back to sleep.

“Your actress has been blasting my phone with messages.” Jessica said, her glass of orange juice clinking as she sets it on the dining table.
“That’s nothing new, unnie.”
“Yeah, well, she’s been doing it all through the night. I’ve been missing out on my sleep, Soojung.”
“She must have been bored during a break from filming that new movie.”
“Then, why doesn’t she text you?”
“She did so I called her and then she let me sleep.”
