Byunghun closes his eyes as he puts his balled up right fist to his mouth, stifling a yawn before stretching his sore body. The boy had spent his entire afternoon trying to prepare the night’s dinner in high hopes that Sowon would be able to enjoy a good meal in her son’s home. Finally putting the lid atop the pot and lowering the heat, Byunghun wipes his hands on his apron as he lets the stew simmer over the stove.

“Byunghun ah.” Chanhee sing-songs into the kitchen as he immediately wraps his arms around Byunghun’s shoulders.

“Channie don’t, I’m all sweaty and stinky.” Byunghun whines in slight disgust as he tried to pry the older’s arms off his shoulders, all he wanted right now was a cool refreshing bath after slogging in the kitchen for the entire day. Not to mention Chanhee had a guest coming over and he obviously had to look his best in front of Chanhee’s ex-girlfriend right?

Earlier in the afternoon Chanhee had admitted that the guest his mother invited his ex-girlfriend over for dinner but he also quickly assured the boy that he had completely no lingering feelings for the woman and he would only love his one and only Byunghun. It might come across as defensive to others but he knew how Byunghun was a hell of a sensitive one especially with the pregnancy hormones so of course Chanhee thought it would be better to play safe and be honest about his past relationships.

“Byunghoney will always smell sweet like honey to me.” Chanhee mused as he buried his face into the nape of his lover’s neck.  Byunghun always whined about how selfishly small Chanhee’s head was but the latter loved how his head was small enough to perfectly bury it in his wife’s neck where the latter always smelled sweetest at.

“Oh stop it Channie.” The younger bashfully whines as he turned around to smack his husband playfully and untangled himself from Chanhee’s hold.

“I’m going to shower.” The boy finally manages to escape from Chanhee’s death grip, giggling when he saw how the latter was sulking at his actions.

“Then let me shower with you.”

“No, now off you go and watch your daughter Lee Chanhee.” Byunghun deadpans as he shooed the man away before taking off his baby pink frilly apron and sweeping his towel off the laundry rack before going disappearing into the toilet.

The husband pouts seeing that his hanky panky plans of showering with Byunghun had gone down the drain as he trudged out into the living hall to look for his daughter.
