"Here." Songwan handed Irene a ring.

Irene stares at Songwan, confuses at the latter's action.

"W-why are you giving me this?

Songwan grabbed the soft hand and put the ring on Irene's palm.

"It's not that kind of expensive ring but I want you to wear this so that I can go"

"W-why?"

"So that everyone knows you're mine. When some random guy hitting on you, show him the ring, okay?"

 5 years Later 

Songwan sniffed the familiar scent then formed her lips into a smile. She dragged the big suitcase outside the big building. A girl with a short haircut waved at her with a smile which Songwan returned it with a chuckle. They were inside Amber’s car that was filled with laughter from exchanging words.

“I prepared everything. But, aren’t you tired? It’s tonight.” Amber glanced to her right and found Song wan zooning out while looking outside the window.

She elbowed her friend and Song wan quickly shifted her attention which Amber seek for.

“Oh? Oh no I’m not tired. Thanks for preparing everything.” Amber chuckled seeing the girl’s reaction

“You’re nervous right? A lot of men asked her out tho” Song wan’s ears perked up hearing that.

She just sighed while having a lot of thoughts running in her mind.

With a nervous look Song wan tied her hair in ponytail, buttoned her blue shirt and slide the grey pants she wears for the party tonight. It’s not a big party though, just a party to celebrate her comeback here in Seoul. Maybe a fun dinner with her friends after a long time. Amber said she already invited Irene and Song wan really expecting to meet her tonight.

She drove her car and arrived infront of a unique kind of restaurant, She sighed deeply before walking inside. She saw how empty the restaurant is and how it is just a few people there, laughing, talking happily to each other before she coughed to signaled them she was present. She saw Krystal looking at her and how she waved at her before ordered her to seat beside her and Amber.

30 minutes passed, Song wan keeps fidgeting on her seat, she wonders if she would come right now and it frustrates her. She scanned around the restaurant, and her eyes met those familiar brown orbs. A certain figure was walking inside the restaurant with a white and pink one piece dress, Song wan couldn’t look away until she was face to face with her. They exchanged smile, before Song wan looked down and saw the same ring she gave Irene before she left, then smiled even wider.

She then motioned irene to sit beside her. Songwan gave irene a quick peck on her temple, Irene couldn't help but blushed.  "You look beautiful tonight." Songwan whispers. Irene then smiled sheepishly, 

"Thank you, you look great yourself." Songwan then slowly intertwined their hands, her thumb reach the ring that she gave to irene. "Beautiful ring, by the way."
