“~~~~~~!” A welcoming voice squealed.

You looked up and beamed, “Yuri!”

She rushed over and caught you in a hug. You giggled and squeezed her back. Yuri cooed and fussed over your son, “Youngjae, you’re sooo cute.” She tickled his stomach and he giggled. You smiled at your best friend.

“Hi, Yuri.” Jaejoong appeared.

She sheepishly smiled, “Hey, oppa. Er- I heard about what happened. I want to say sorry for being disrespectful to you.”

“It’s all right.” He graciously smiled.

“DBSK, rehearsal next!” The PD called. “I’ll see you later. Watch me!” Jaejoong kissed your cheek, ruffled Youngjae’s head, and went on stage.

You, Yuri, and Youngjae watched. This was the first time you were able to see him live. Youngjae was practically glowing with happiness.

After Jaejoong, Yuri went up with the rest of SNSD. Some of them saw you and waved with excitement. Others didn’t recognize you or just ignored you.

You felt a longing in your heart *I could’ve been up there with them.*

Youngjae tugged on your sweater, “Mommy, I can’t see daddy.”

You adoringly smiled at him *But I’d rather be here watching with my son than on any stage in the world.* You scooped him up in your arms and scanned the arena, “Let’s see…”
