That night after Youngjae had gone to sleep, you and Jaejoong were sitting in bed reviewing all the photo albums you had collected of Youngjae throughout the years.

“That was his first birthday.” You pointed at a photo of cute 1 year old Youngjae in hanbok.

Jaejoong smiled, “He’s adorable.”

You beamed and nodded in agreement.

The two of you laughed at his silly pictures and admired over his smiling ones. “He has your smile.” You stated. Jaejoong gazed at you, “He has your eyes.”

You smiled, pleased, and turned the page, “Oh! This is the first day of Youngjae’s school. He was so scared but eventually, he made it.”

Jaejoong watched you explain every picture. You felt him staring and stopped talking. You turned to him and looked at him with curious eyes.

Jaejoong softly curled a strand of your hair behind your ear, “You raised Youngjae well. He’s such a strong and bright kid. I’m so proud to have a son like him.”

You smiled appreciatively.

He laced his fingers through yours and looked into your eyes, “I know you had a hard time supporting and taking care of him on your own. Now, you won’t be alone. I’ll be with you every step of the way. You have me to lean on now.”

Your eyes softened, “Jaejoong oppa.”

He softly kissed you.

You closed your eyes and sweetly on his bottom lip.
