#3 : Your Font.

I'm sure your decision on font goes for everyone. No one wants to read a story that constantly changes font every chapter, or worse, every paragraph. It seriously gets annoying. If you can't stick to one font or can't remember what font you used previously, then don't change it. Leave the box that says 'font' alone!

Also your text color. I don't care if your titles are different colors, but your story itself, shouldn't be. It should always be black. Tell me, does this not get annoying:

Taemin sat down and griped onto his pencil, tapping the beats on his right thigh. He was unsure how he was going to compose this new song that had to be turned in by tomorrow morning. 

Okay, annoying, right? Especially the lime-green color-- it's blinding. Sure, I admit that light colors are indeed pretty, but they're hard to read. Lets say I was reading a fanfiction that had lime-green text, I would have to highlight the whole entire chapter. Just don't change your text color. Leave it black, it's easier to read and looks more professional. By the way, the example up above is horrible, I know-- so quiet.

Also, the text's background color, leave that alone as well. It's gets annoying, probably more so than just having a different text color.

Yes, sadly, some people do change the background color. Though, I'm not sure if they change it every sentence, but I've seen some change it for a different person's point-of-view.
