Yuri’s POV

                The meeting has been adjourned so me and Appa went to his office to talk about where should we go, he said that was the only meeting that he have for today and as for me I still have my three-day vacation, and that was the meeting was all about, about my schedules, since I cancelled it all before I went back here, I have to catch things up.

                When we were still discussing about my up-coming schedules I told Appa that I don’t want to accept any offers from Korea, I don’t really feel like it, not because I don’t want to work with the girls, I really do love working with them its like 9 times the fun, but there is a different atmosphere when Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sica and me are together, there is really heavy tension, I want to talk to them about it but I feel like it’s not yet the right time, we still need a time apart, but then I was thinking of Sica, maybe she’s having a hard time right now, and I cant help but to miss her, I really miss her so much, but I have to fight this for me, for us.

                Me and Appa are inside a fancy restaurant, I’ve never been here but he said it’s one of his favorite, we went inside and the guy maybe he is a waiter because he looks like one, formally dressed with a tux, a black bowtie and a vest and a white inner long sleeve polo. He escorted us inside a room, it’s very unusual because every costumers are eating outside, at the usual place where a costumer should eat.

                Appa may know what I have in mind because as soon as we are seated at a very comfortable sofa and a table in front of us he then snapped me out and said “This is the V.I.P. room only a few people can make a reservation here, including me, and I have already told the owner that if you somewhat wants to make a reservation, maybe when the time comes you want to take someone on a date and you don’t want to end up in the news, you can bring her here this is a place where big personalities can unwind and be themselves without ending up on the headlines” he then gave me a menu “order, you must be hungry”

                So I took the menu and scan it over and told Appa my order, minutes later the waiter  gave our food and we started to eat while discussing some stuff.

                “so Jessica? How are you both?” He asked hesitation can be heard in his voice, he knows my situation right now and the reason why I’m here, he knows that Jessica didn’t accept my offer.

                “she’s still not talking to me Appa, I miss her, I really do” I told him with all honesty

                “maybe it’s the other way around yul?”

                I was confused as to what he means about it

                “what do you mean?”

                He took a deep breath and placed his spoon and fork at the side of his plate and then stared at me “What I mean is that, what if she’s doing the same thing as you are doing? What if she’s waiting for you to approach first? Like what you said you are the guy in this relationship, then you should be the one who should talk to her first. Now tell me, is there a fairytale story where the Prince waited for his Princess? I don’t think so Yul. It’s always the Princess who waits for her Prince and the Prince his always the one who fights for anyone or anything for his Princess, even a dragon his willing to slay just to have her Princess”

                I was lost, everything he said was true, even if I need to hear her explanation I should have approached her. I don’t want to let her feel that I don’t need her or I’m mad at her because the truth is I need her. I need her right now, because without her I’m nothing.

                “You’re right appa! I should be right there for her, maybe she hates herself right now and I don’t want her to feel the way, how should I approach her appa?”

                He smiled maybe he’s happy that I followed his instruction “just tell her how you feel, Be honest Yuri. Honesty is more important than love between a relationship. I learned it the hard way” his once happy smile turns into a sad one

                “Why? Isn’t Love binds two hearts together?”

                “Yes that’s true, but tell me Yuri, what is love without honesty? Because Honesty is still Honesty without love but love will never be love without honesty”

Again he’s right. He’s been a good father to me , so I wonder does he ever had a family? We never discussed about it, I never knew if he had a girlfriend “I guess again you’re right Appa, I will talk to her” I gave him a thank you smile and we continue eating

“Zzzznnkkkk Zzzznzznkk” I groaned as I reached for my phone, my eyes are still closed, I just reached for my phone which is I remembered I have placed beside me. Finally I reached my phone and answered it without knowing who was calling

“Hello?” I answered with a sleepy voice and it’s still husky.

“Hi Yuwree!!!” The caller on the other line squealed and trust me it’s really loud

“Hey Tiff, so why did you call?” Iasked bluntly still my eyes are closed and I’m still lying on my bed

“You don’t want to talk to me, do you?” there she goes again using her unusual aegyo.

“Aish! Of course I don’t mind talking to you, I’m just curious you know”

“oh well I just want to hear your morning voice and let me tell you it’s ing y!”

I froze on what she said, is this really Tiffany who I’m talking to? “Oh, uhhmm, is that all?” Why is a bold Tiffany making me nervous?

“Are you nervous again Kwon Yuri?” then I heard a chuckle after

This girl really, Where is that shy Tiffany that I know? aish! “no I’m not, and I’m going to hung up now” I’m so tired she woke me up

“wait!!!” I heard before I press the end call, so I put it back at my ear

“what?” I said in a nice way

“I miss you” those were just simple words and yet it made my body awake, it made my eyes not just open but widen, and I don’t know why “I just want to tell you that, I really miss you” I heard her took a deep breath and continued “bye, have a great day Yuri” then I hear a beeping sounding indicating the phone call has ended.

I looked at the phone and thought twice of what I heard was real. But again like what I did before I flew back to California. . . . . I shrugged it off, I didn’t sleep back because I can’t, I just went to the bathroom and started my daily routine   

“What the? Are you kidding me Appa?!!” I cant believe what I have just heard, he must be kidding

He opened his mouth to talk back but someone interrupted “Mr. Hawking, Girls Generation is about to enter the building”

Appa gave Jenny his secretary a smile and said “good, just let them enter here at the conference room” then Jenny left

“WHAT WAS THAT?!?! Tell me you’re kidding” I was still shocked and I don’t have much time to chill because less than 5 minutes I will be facing my eight sisters

“Nope, like what I have said Yuri, Tyler recommended Girls Generation to be the models for his new clothing line” he then stood up and went to the window looking at the view of the city so I was puzzled

“uhhhm? Appa? What are you looking at?” I asked him then he turned around and offered a smile

“the visitors are coming, so you know how the movies work, when a visitor enters a CEO’s office the CEO always face the window mysteriously” okay that cracked me up, so I laughed my heart out and he also did the same

“So can I join you with your acting-like-a-mysterious-CEO look?” then he nodded his head once and I stood up and went beside him, standing and looking at the busy streets of California  

Without looking at me he said “Like father, Like son” his statement lets me look at him in shock but I only saw his calm face and it made me smile

I repeated what he said as a sign that I agree to him “like father, like son”

Then I heard the door being pushed I was about to turn my head to see who was it but he then whispered quietly “Don’t turn around” and so I did what he ask me

“Mr. Hawking, Ms. Kwon, Girls Generation are here” we waited for a few seconds then he whispered again

“Now turn around” and we both turn around at the same time that almost made us both burst into laughter, but we held it in, then I saw my 8 beautiful sisters with wide smiles on their faces, it’s been a week since I last saw them

“good morning to everyone” Appa said formally, everyone bowed and said good morning

“Hi girls” I gesture them to come closer, because I want to introduce them to Appa

As soon as they are in front of me I started to introduce them ”Appa this is Sooyoung my buddy, Hyoyeon the best dancer, Yoona I’m closer to her, Taeyeon our leader, Seohyun the youngest but her vocal is so! great, Tiffany my other bestfriend besides Yoona and Je . . . . . . “

I was about to introduce the last member but Appa cut me off “Jessica right? Let me guess Jessica your girlfriend?” then I earned a teasing sound from Hyo and Soo, those two, really!!! I can feel my cheeks turning warm and I also saw Sica’s face blushing.

So I held Jessica’s hand the feeling that I missed so much then I saw her looking at me with a confused look, so I smiled at her the smile that’s only for her and I saw the smile that she gives only for me “Yes, she’s Jessica Jung Sooyeon, My girlfriend” I told him proudly and he smiled back

“Nice to finally meet you miss Jung” Appa said while extending his hand

I then playfully pushed his hand before sica can take it “Don’t touch her appa she’s mine”

Appa just chuckled and gestured everyone to sit down and we all obliged, of course me and Sica are sited beside each other.

“So as you all know you’re here for a photoshoot right?” everyone nodded in agreement, pffttt I want to end this now I still need to talk to Sica privately. “uhhm, just wait a minute, because I can’t really explain the things for you”

“uhhm sir are we still waiting for someone?” Sooyoung asked

“unfortunately yes, don’t worry his on his way up” Appa answered

Sooyoung just nodded. Well for me and Jessica we didn’t talk we’re just silently enjoying our silent moment, holding hands under the table with smiles on our faces. Then as we we’re doing our different stuffs the door opened I guess it’s Tyler, so I turn around and I’m not wrong it is him, I saw Jessica turned her head to the door but I felt her stiffen.

“So everyone. . . . . ” Appa said and we all stood up, I don’t know why but Jessica seems a little off. . . . . “. . . . . . He is the owner of the Blanc clothing line, he is Tyler Kwon” Appa gestured Tyler to sit and he took the seat opposite to me then he smile when our eyes met and I did the same

“Well, I guess you all don’t need to introduce yourselves, because I already know you all, Korea’s Biggest girl group” he announced, we all chuckled because of his compliment, but then I saw his gaze turned into Jessica, he smiled widely “Jessica” he said softly that made Sica look at him, I was still holding Jessica’s hand and I can feel her palm sweating.

“Tyler” he said with a blank tone

“You know each other?” I asked Tyler, then he smiled

“Yes, we do” those simple words give me shiver, a different feeling, I don’t know why but maybe Jessica felt it too because he tighten the grip on my hand under the table.

Then we started our meeting the whole hour I held her hand, the whole hour she’s gripping on it, the whole hour I can feel her fear, and it adds the things that I want to ask her later.

What’s wrong Jessica? That was all in my mind the whole time. . . . . . .
