After that fried chicken incident, I didn't even bother to make myself lunch anymore. I didn't care if I had to starve, I was just gonna go and stay in the library where peace was guaranteed. Ever since that second Jongin ditched me for his friend, I got so annoyed just by remembering his face. To make the matter worse, I couldn't get his pretty little smirk out of my head and every time I realised that, I got even more frustrated. So life for the past couple of days were like roller coaster of emotions. My feelings were getting a little out of hand and I was so scared. I knew who Jongin was. Rumours or not, I know I wasn't the kind of girl Jongin would fall for. Dang it! To be acknowledged by him alone would be an accomplishment because, clearly, my face was just average. My brain wasn't exactly the brightest and I definitely was not any bit popular. And every time I thought about Jongin, I would feel so small and so worthless; it made me so sad and pathetic.
"Ugh!" I groaned and banged my head on the table. It must have been quite a sight, considering I was in a library. So to minimise my embarassment, I placed the book I was currently reading (or pretend to read) on top of my head to cover my identity.
"Why is my life so sad?" I asked myself silently.
"So you're here."
A deep voice, which was very foreign to my ears, suddenly greeted me.
When I looked up to see the owner of the voice, I got even more shocked.
"You?"
"Yes, me. I'm Sehun, Kai's friend, if you haven't noticed. I was the guy you saw last Friday?" He shrugged.
Of course I had noticed, you pretty boy. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be that shocked. Gah!
"Ah, yes, I noticed." I said a little awkwardly. Ugh, me and my conversation starter.
"I guess, this is yours. Jongin asked me to return this to you. He, uh, has errands to do."
Sehun said and handed me my lunchbox. Oh yes, my lunchbox! I must have left it with Jongin. Just how ridiculous I could get in front of him now.
When I took my lunchbox from Sehun, I noticed a piece of paper on top of it. It read: 'Your fried chicken isn't as nice as what I would normally have but as long as you're the one who made it, I'd be delighted. ;)'
I knew he was flirting, but I couldn't help but to blush. And Sehun must have noticed it.
"I knew now why he was after you, Jung Haneul." He said softly, but still it gave me chills down my spine.
"And if I were you, I would stay as far away as possible from Kai." He continued, but shifting his gaze elsewhere.
I followed his gaze and what I had in front of me took the breath out of my lungs, in a very bad way. It was Jongin, with another girl. I thought he had errands to do?
Wait, I knew that girl. Who wouldn't? She was the Krystal, the very girl everybody fell for.
Before everything got a little out of hand, I took my lunchbox and headed for he exit.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, but thank you for returning this. I have to go. I'm sorry." I brushed past him, accidentally bumping into his shoulders.
I didn't have time to look at his reaction, or if he considered my action rude. I just took off because had I spent one more second in there, I would go ballistic.
What I failed to notice was the way Sehun looked from my direction to that of the gorgeous prince and princess couple across where Sehun and I were. It was as if he knew something would have happened, and he was looking forward to it.
The pretty boy, Sehun, has made an appearance! Yay!
And, of course, who wouldn't fall for the beauty that is Jung Soojung?
