Chapter 2
It's Okay, It's Love"Oh, you're here?" Joonmyeon asked as he entered the lounge room with his friend already inside.
"Ah, yes." Jongin answered, clearly surprised by the sudden appearance of his friend.
"You must have met my friend, Haneul, then?" Joonmyeon asked as he walked towards the pile of boxes.
"Ha- who?" The other male tilted his head.
"Haneul. Jung Haneul, the girl who brought these boxes in." Joonmyeon answered without paying attention to Jongin's change of expression.
"I see." Jongin smirked, and with that he stood up and straightened his uniform.
"Where are you going?"
"Where I always go." Jongin answered ambiguously and raised his hand to say goodbye.
Once he was outside the room, he took his cell phone out to make a call.
"Jung Haneul. Tell me about her."

"Haneul, you're not going home?" One of my classmates asked me.
"Nah, I have to finish this first. Don't worry. It won't take long." I answered and gave my classmate a reassuring smile.
"Okay then, I'll get going first. Bye." My classmate waved at me and in an instant I was left alone.
"Well, at least, I've got my math homework to accompany me." I said to myself.
Two hours and a half had passed since my class was over and thank goodness my homework was all done. Packing my stuffs into my bag, I finally left the classroom. My body was a little stiff from all the sitting so I did a little stretching as I walked towards my locker. Nobody was in the hallway so I didn't really care if somebody caught me. I guess, I really was weird but whatever.
"Didn't know you were that flexible."
A deep voice out of nowhere surprised the life out of me as I bent down to touch my toes.
"Gracious goodness, you scared me." I said, half-screaming.
"Oh, did I surprise you, Jung Haneul?" My uninvited schoolmate asked sarcastically. That made me feel a little threatened but I tried my best to look unaffected.
I continued to walk towards my original destination and I was putting a few my books in my locker when he suddenly slammed my locker shut.
"Do you know that I find you interesting?"
I backed up a little. What is he trying to do? Gosh, why does he have to smell so nice? I was completely out of my mind. This guy had driven me insane. Somebody help me!
"O... kay..." I said, a little nervously.
I stepped back again and looked at him, waiting if he had anything else to say. When I was quite sure he wouldn't (he was looking straight into me, I had to leave), I adjusted my backpack straps and headed for the gate.
"Listen, Jongin. I don't know what you're trying to do here, but I have to go. I think, you're a little tired. Maybe you should rest a little bit. You're being weird. Okay. Yeah. Cool." I blabbered without looking into his eyes, everywhere but his eyes.
I didn't dare to wait for his reply. I knew how a guy like him would react. I mean, I heard all the gossips. He was a playboy and everything. Gosh, why did I have to be such a bigmouth? I need to learn to control my mouth!
"Just for your information, I've got my eyes on you, Jung Haneul. Remember that." He shouted across the hallway.
Well, he didn't sound threatening but whatever he just said didn't make me at ease, either. What was that supposed to mean? He got his eyes on me? What am I supposed to do now? Argh!
I ignored him and ran for the gate. I have to get home. Now.
What I didn't know was Jongin hadn't moved from where we were just now. Worse, his eyes were kept on me (or on my back, to be precise) before he said, "I told you you're an interesting girl." And with that he chuckled and left the hallway.
