Chapter 15
It's Okay, It's LoveEverything moved like a dream to me. Jongin and I grew a little closer; at least that was how I felt as I became more comfortable around him. Today was our last day in Suncheon, and I had become too dependent on Jongin that my mind started forming these scenarios of what would happen once we were back in Seoul.
“Haneul dear, can you do me one last favour?” The old lady I lived with for the past two nights suddenly approached me.
It was a bright morning day with no chance of raining. I beamed upon seeing her. The old grandma had been nothing but a very sweet person to me and Jongin (and Tao, most definitely). She took a very good care of us and I felt a little sad that I would be leaving her behind.
“Anything, Grandma.” I smiled and accepted her outstretched hand.
“I want to cook fish for you but I’m running out of them. Do you mind going to the market to help me buy a few of them?” She asked politely.
“That won’t be a problem, Grandma.” I replied.
I bid her goodbye and went to find my bicycle (or Grandma’s bicycle that she lent to me). I was about to leave Grandma’s place when I felt a sudden weight on the backseat.
“Yah! What are you doing?” I exclaimed.
“Following you.” Jongin replied as he tilted his head to the side.
The sight before me was too cute for my little heart to handle that I wanted to put him in my pocket or something. Gaaah!!!
“You scared me.” I scolded him and rolled my eyes.
I proceeded to pedal my bicycle but apparently Jongin wasn’t prepared for the sudden jolt.
“Yah! You should’ve warned me!” He screamed as he put both of his hands on my waist to keep him from falling.
“One point for Haneul.” I casually said without looking back at him.
“You’re asking for it!” He threatened me and went to wiggle his body from side to side.
I almost sent the both of us to the ground face first. This guy!
“Kim Jongiiinnn!!!”
He only laughed; the kind of laugh which spread warmth all over my chest. It sounded very endearing.
“Okay. Fine. I’m not doing it again. Just go!” He managed to say in between his laughter.
“You’re a kid, Jongin!”
“A cute one. Now, let’s go!” He said and pumped his fist into the air.
Now it was my turn to be amused. He never failed to surprise me everytime.

“Did you see Kai anywhere?” Krystal asked the group of boys who were busy gulping down their meals.
“No, why?” Joonmyeon replied.
“Nothing. He was supposed to meet me but he’s late.” She complained.
Nothing, not even her eyelashes, of hers was placed wrongly – even if something did, she would still look perfect. That was just how Krystal was: a goddess.
“We’ll be leaving soon. I’m sure you can see him on the bus or something.” Joonmyeon tried to reason out.
Krystal was looking at the boys who kept their eyes on their plates as if she never appeared before glancing at Joonmyeon, the only guy who bothered to notice her.
Krystal didn’t get to voice out whatever that was in her head when the asked guy appeared. On a bicycle. With fishes on both of his hands. Together with another girl.
If the fishes bothered Krystal, the last part probably made her furious.

“Oh great, we’re late!” I screamed in panic and went to park the bicycle.
“Who asked you to be so slow?” Jongin asked sarcastically.
“We wouldn’t be late if only you would stop wiggling here and there.” I retorted back.
“I didn’t do anything.” He stretched both of his arms in defeat. His expression was one of a lost puppy and I couldn’t do anything about it. With that kind of face, he would convince me to steal a BMW for him and I would gladly do so. Ugh, this guy would be my weakness!
“Yeah right.” I rolled my eyes and was about to grab the fish from him when he raised his arms, preventing me from reaching it.
I glared at him. He just shrugged. I blew my non-existent bangs and jumped for the fish. To no avail. Ugh, this guuuyyy!!!
“Give it to me, Jongin!” I said through gritted teeth and attempted for another jump. I failed, again.
“I’ll give it to you in one condition.” He said sweetly.
“What?” I grumbled and crossed my hands in front of my chest.
“Don’t be mad at me, please?” He asked as he lowered his head to match my eye level.
I gulped. His face was so close to mine and my rapid heartbeat didn’t help to cool my brain. Argh!
He must have seen my stupid cheeks blushing for the millionth time because he retracted his head and smirked.
He smirked.
That wasn’t a good sign, if you didn’t know.
"Jung Haneul, I like you."
My heart skipped a beat; it was almost embarassing. But for goodness sake, how would I not? I mean, the school's prince was right in front of me and he did not just say that he liked me. What was I supposed to do? I would gladly dig a hole and bury myself but that would make me look like a complete fool — which I had been doing a good job for the past nineteen years of my life, to be very honest — so no thanks. In times of desperation, I did what my heart told me to and so I stayed true to my feelings. What I was about to do probably made me the dumbest girl ever lived but whatever.
"I think, I like you, too, Kim Jongin."
Wanted to update earlier but I had a mental block. I'm sorry!
On another note, the feelings were all cleared off their chests. What will happen next? Dugeun. Dugeun.
I'll leave you at that. Hehehehehe! (evil laughs)
Kisses, my dear!
Don't forget to smile!
