A Boy Who WillIV.
“You said what? I told you never to speak of it again!”
“But it was to my family! Plus, the guys already knew it. And, it’s not like they’re going to run in it the newspaper.”
“Hrmph.”
“You can get mad all you want, princess, but you’d also want to know the nice stuff I said. I told them about how responsible in school you are, Prom Committee In-Charge and soon-to-be Prom Queen, and how extraordinarily wonderful you are in every way!”
Jessica turned around the moment he mentioned all the good things, smiling widely.
“You said that?”
“Of course I did. I tell them a lot about you, you know? Sometimes because they force it out of me but no matter. I’d love to tell them about my amazing girlfriend any day.”
She smiled, her heart thumping. It wasn’t the first time he’d said anything like that, but every time he did, it always felt like the first.
I want a boy who will tell his family and friends all about me.
