More Than Romance | HIATUSFirst Year University.
Rina's POV
Things sure are getting hectic with this new college life of mine. I haven't seen Jay in a week either... More like two weeks. He's always so busy, I sighed. He's so lucky his parents let him move to a place closer to his university while my parents continue to treat me like a baby. It's embarrassing having a driver to send me to school and pick me up. It's not like my life is in threat or something. I looked at my watch to see that in ten minutes it will be time for class again.
“Oh great, college algebra. Why do I need this? I'm a mass communication major. Why math? Why?” I complained aloud.
I closed my eyes and put my head down with my arms as a pillow on the table.
“Riiiiina!”
“I could have gone deaf with what you just did,” I looked up to see Luna
“But you'd still love me,” she giggled as she sat in front of me
“No class today?”
“Done already so I came to visit you!”
“One of my professors is going to kick you out one day,”
“No they wouldn't,”
“You don't even attend this school,”
“So? They don't know that,”
“Then stop making a ruckus in class,”
“Oh my dear Rina, always so serious,” Luna stuck her tongue out
“We are in college now. We have to be,”
“That doesn't mean you lose all the fun!”
“Let's just go to class,” I gave up.
Author's POV
The two best friends wanted to stick together in college but due to their different choices of majors, they had to separate. However, they still made time for each other, at least once or twice a week. Even if it was freshman year of university, they had a lot to adjust to. It wasn't as laid back as high school, of course. Plus it was a new environment which meant trying to figure out the school's layout, meeting new people, etc. Luna was enjoying her first year of college life because she was surrounded by people that are as passionate as her about music. Rina, on the other hand, was as always feeling a bit left out in the new school. Plus add the fact she wasn't used to not seeing Jay for so long.
Jay's POV
An hour has passed already. Where could she be? She's suppose to be home by now. Should I not do it today? Is this a sign? I shouldn't do it, right? I was walking back and forth in front of Rina's house.
“Dude, calm down,” Jun told me, who was sitting on the mini staircase leading to the door
“How do I calm down?” I snapped
