More Than Romance | HIATUSAuthor's POV
Rina finished her last day of the school year quickly. She only had to submit her paper works and she was free to go.
“Freedom, I smell it, I feel it, ahhh~” she did a little twirl as she exited her classroom
“If other people saw that, you might think you're a little crazy.”
It was Donghae leaning his back on the wall while looking at her.
“Oh, you startled me! How long have you been there?”
Donghe shrugged his shoulders. He didn't bother to look at the time while waiting. He was just ecstatic about school being over.
“Done for the day?”
“Yup!” she did a little skip as she went towards him
“Let's go home?”
“Let's not,” giggled Rina
“Someone's hypher,”
“As if you're not happy about school being over,” Rina poked his side
“Hey,” Donghae caught her hand before she could retreat
“Heyy~”
The two were so caught up in their own world that they didn't notice Rina's professor come out of the room.
“Why look at this,” he spoke up
“Professor Smith,” the two were suddenly standing very straight and stiff
“Two of the most hardworking students in the campus, Damian and Rina. You two are quite the pair,” he commented
The two took glances at each other not knowing what to respond.
“Um, thank you, sir,” Donghae bowed
“Well you two better run along now. Vacation has begun,”
“Yes sir. Have a nice vacation,” said Rina
“To you two as well.”
Rina became a bit flustered. Donghae and I make quite the pair, Professor said.
“So where do you want to go if not home?” Donghae asked
“Huh?”
“Someone's spacing out,”
“Sorry,”
“So where should we go now?”
“Let's go to one of those American diners,” Rina finally answered
“American diners?” he sounded like he wasn't up for it
“Don't tell me you want tacos again? You make so much at home already,”
“And you eat burgers a lot,”
“Nah uh,”
“Well every time, we're out,”
“Because I'm not a pizza or pasta person,” she made a disgusted face, “and we have tacos at home like everyday,”
“As a snack, not as a meal,”
“You two sound like an old married couple bickering like that.”
Donghae and Rina were stunned to hear that voice.
“Christine,” Donghae looked her way
“Damian,” she looked at him intensely, “Rina,”
“Hello Christine,” greeted Rina
“Oh please, don't let my presence bother you,”
“Well we're about to leave so,” Donghae awkwardly informed her.
He was about to reach for Rina's hand. Rina felt uncomfortable and noticed Donghae reaching for her hand but she held her hands instead.
“Did
