Daehan Minguk, Manse!
EquationsNote: I have been absent for a very long time and I have no excuse to be away for this long. I don't know if anyone's still reading this, but if you are... Thank you. Really. Thank you very much. At first, I was away for a while, then when I was going to get back to writing, there were rumors about (I don't know if it's appropriate to post this here) but, Jihyo's potential boyfriend? Another loveline, let's just say, that got me feeling down. I decided to take some time off, but I realized that it's not fair for you. So here I am, and if there are still people reading this, maybe I shouldn't give up. Besides, everyone seems to enjoy Keia's presence. Haha. So, thank you.
“Appa, $%@!?& mwoyeyo?” Keia came in running towards Gary. Gary, who wasn’t paying attention to what was going on, had his eyes wide. They were in Jeonju to film an episode. As usual, Keia tagged along, as well as Seongmoon and Hyunwoo.
“Where did you hear this?” Gary asked.
“Eomma.” Keia said, pointing at Jihyo and Haha standing by the designated area, a prank had been set up. After censoring herself and laughing it out with Haha, they joined the rest of the cast in the dressing room after filming that day.
“Jihyo-ya…” Gary said as soon as she entered. Jihyo immediately looked at him, concerned. “Be careful of what you say. Keia’s here.” Jihyo covered in surprise. “She asked me what $%@!?& is.” Jihyo sat next to Keia and lifted Keia onto her lap.
“Mianhae…” She said to both Keia and Gary. She caressed Keia’s cheek and planted a kiss on her head. Keia moved away from Jihyo, climbing unto her dad’s lap.
“Eomma miwo.” Keia said, hugging her dad. “Eomma nappa! Why is eomma mean.” She pouted. Gary and Jihyo had always been very careful with what they say since they had Keia, but that was unexpected. It was a prank and her initial response was to curse. Gary just told Keia that it was a bad word and Keia shouldn’t say that. Keia had never seen her parents curse, so this was a little bit of a shock for her.
“Jihyo’s done for.” Haha said, laughing.
“Jinjja, oppa.” Jihyo said, shaking her head. “Keia-ya, mianhae. Eomma was surprised. I didn’t know that you’d hear everything.”
“Does Eomma say bad things all the time? You’re mean. I’m sad.” Keia said. Gary laughed and caressed Keia’s head. “It’s not funny, Appa. I’m really sad.” Keia said. Jihyo leaned on Gary’s side, trying to sneak a glance of Keia’s face, but Keia turned her face away.
“Aniya…” Jihyo rested her hand on Keia’s back. “Eomma jalmothaesseo. Mianhae.” She said to Keia. “I didn’t mean to.”
“You’re supposed to say things I can say too.” Keia told Jihyo.
“I know… You shouldn’t say that, ok? Eomma didn’t mean to say that. I’d never say that to you, not even in front of you.” Jihyo kissed Keia’s cheek. “Iriwabwa.” She opened her arms and Keia slowly went into her arms.
“Eomma promise me.” Keia said, still not liking that side of her mom. “I’ll be very sad.”
“Of course. When do I ever make you sad on purpose?” Jihyo said, smiling.
“Ya, geojitmal.” Sukjin said. “You two are the cheekiest parents around. You until she cries all the time.” The other members laughed, seeing this unfold in front of them a lot of times. Meanwhile, Jihyo leaned over and gave Gary a kiss, whispering a soft sorry. The members then went out for dinner. Since they were there, they were planning to go to a famous Jeonju bibimbap restaurant.
“Do we have any mission dinner time?” Jaesuk asked the PD, because he saw no cameras around. The PD shook his head.
“Not for dinner, we’ll continue in the house later on.” He said. “Just be patient.” He teased, laughing. Jaesuk laughed and left the PD. They all took their respective seats. The seven sat in the middle surrounded by all the staffs. Hyunwoo next to Sukjin, and Seongmoon around the right end, with Jihyo’s stylists.
“Samchon, samchon.” Keia said while waiting for their food.
“You wanna go with samchon?” Gary asked her. Keia nodded. Gary moved the chair backwards and Keia got down, looking for Seongmoon.
“Since we’re all here and not filming, let’s do something fun.” Jaesuk suggested to the table. Everyone agreed, the younger PDs always excited at the hint of games. “What shall we do?” Just then, Song Il Gook and the triplets came in. Since Jaesuk was facing the door, he saw Il Gook coming in. “O… Song Il Gook, aniya?” He asked the people around him. They immediately turned around to see.
“Oh… Oppa annyeonghaseyo.” Jihyo greeted him, having worked with him before. Il Gook led his twins to the table and side hugged Jihyo. “Your kids are so grown up.” Jihyo said.
“Right?” He asked for Jihyo’s confirmation. He then told the triplet to greet everyone, which they did. “Are you filming right now?” He asked.
“Aniyo oppa. We just filmed an episode so we’re just having dinner. We were just gonna play some games, do you wanna join?” Jihyo asked, laughing. Il gook laughed as well, he had always enjoyed watching Running Man with his kids.
“Do you have any suggestions on what we should play?” Jaesuk asked. He then asked the triplets.
“The one with Peppero.” Minguk said, smiling with his chubby cheeks. Everyone laughed, that was probably their go-to game during staff dinners and MTs, they’ve done it so many times it lost its awkwardness.
“We don’t have peppero right now, but we’ll do it with carrots.” Jaesuk said. They got some carrots thinly sliced to resemble peppero sticks. “Do you want to play too?” Jaesuk asked the triplets. They nodded. Daehan played with Minguk, Manse with Ilgook. He made sure everyone who wanted to play got the carrots before starting. Sukjin was paired with Hyunwoo, Keia played with
