When she went back from taking a shower, her daughter was still peacefully asleep. She kissed her sleeping daughter’s forehead and dimmed the lights a little. Only then did she take her phone and video called him. He picked up immediately and smiled.
“Helloooo…” He said, excited. She motioned him to lower his voice, and he did. “Is the baby sleeping?” He asked her and she nodded.
“Are you coming home soon?” She asked him. It was his turn to nod,
“After I finish this song, hopefully.” And then he sighed, tired. “I’m so tired, come here and take me home.” He whined and she laughed at how childish he was.
Keia fidgeted in her sleep and rubbed her eyes. Without opening her eyes, she sobbed. Jihyo was surprised and she put down her phone. She rubbed her daughter’s back and patted her little legs. “Arasseo.” She said. “Come home soon and rest, oppa.” She added before ending the call. She turned to look at her daughter who seemed to be asleep again. She chuckled and let go of her grip. Her daughter whined. “Why are you still awake at this hour?” She asked and the lights again. Her daughter giggled, rubbing her eyes and opening them slowly. She crawled on her knees and reached for Jihyo’s phone. Jihyo held her tiny frame so that she won’t fall over their bed.
