EquationsNote: Another update. And the guest is: Hong Seokchon. Haha. I don't know why he was the guest I imagined. Anyway, enjoy the chapter! :)
“Keia, we’re here…” Gary said, opening the door to Keia’s seat. They have reached the bakery from the cafe, before they head to get grocery and then back home. Keia was deep in her sleep. Gary then just unstrapped her from her car seat and carried her. He went inside the bakery, carrying Keia in his arms. “Which one do you want?” Gary asked and Keia peeked, still leaning on Gary’s shoulder.
“Blueberry.” She whispered, still sleepy. Gary then went around, looking for the blueberry one while Keia lazed in his arms. Just then, someone put an arm around Gary’s back. He was caught by surprise, especially because he was holding Keia. He turned around, surprising the guest.
“Gary-ya!” He said. Gary then laughed when he saw who it was.
“Ah, Seokchon hyung.” He said, lightly bowing, holding Keia’s head.
“Is this your daughter?” He asked, putting his hand on Keia’s back. Gary nodded, smiling. “Yeppeuda. Looks like you.” He said to a sleeping Keia. Because of the noise, Keia opened her eyes and looked at the stranger. It surprised Seokchon. “Aigo. She looks like her eomma now that she’s awake. What’s her name?” He said. Gary laughed.
“Keia… She’s her mom’s daughter.” Gary said, laughing.
“She looks so tired.” He said. “Did you eat yet?” He asked, Gary told him that he was just going to get food after this. Then getting grocery because Keia wanted to make her own food. “How are you and Jihyo doing?" He asked. “I heard you’re doing well.”
“Ah, hyung, it’s not that.” Gary said, embarrassed. He laughed.
“I’ve been wanting to go to your restaurant. I heard from my friend that it’s good.” He said. Gary chuckled, smiling and nodding. “Are you busy right now?” Gary looked confused, he didn’t know what to say. “Come on, let’s go to your restaurant. Let me try it.” He said. Gary laughed and finally nodded. “Jeongmallo?” He asked and Gary nodded, chuckling.
They went to the restaurant and ate, catching up with each other while Keia slept on the sofa. Seokchon was enjoying the meal, and he commented on how good it tasted.
“This is really good, Gary-ya.” Seokchon praised the food.
“Aigo… Kamsahamnida hyung.” He said, smiling.
“How have you been?” He asked. Gary said he had been fine. “Where’s Jihyo? Is she getting her time off?” He said. Gary laughed, telling him that she was working. “Ah, so you’re the one getting your time off.” He said, making Gary laugh. Gary left to go to the bathroom for a while. Seokchon stayed at their table, checking his phone when he heard rustling sounds. Keia woke up and looked around. She sat up.
“Annyeong, Keia…” He said, greeting her with a friendly manner. Keia moved back, unfamiliar with the man in front of her, but she knew the place. She continued to look around and one of the waiters came and approached her.
“Appa’s in the bathroom.” He said and Keia went into his arms. He took Keia in his arms and repeated a guest’s order to the chef.
“Ya, you’re just like your mom. Yeowoo, yah, yeowoo.” Seokchon commented. “Are you using sleepiness as an excuse to get a hug from oppa?” He said, joking, but Keia didn’t understand, so she ignored his comment. Instead, the waiter laughed instead.
“Do you wanna eat anything?” The waiter asked Keia. Keia shook her head and yawned. “Jollyeo.” He laughed, wiping Keia’s hair away from her face.
“O? You’re awake.” Gary said. Keia extended her arms towards him and he pulled her onto his lap. “Do you want to try this?” He whispered to Keia.
“Why is she so timid?” Seokchon asked. Gary laughed.
“Aniyo, hyungnim. It’s because she just woke up.” He said. He looked at Keia and then fixed her hair. Keia pointed at his food so he prepared a spoonful for her. He gave it to her and she tasted it.
“I heard from appa that you wanna make your own meal.” He said to Keia, Keia nodded, leaning onto her dad. “Ah… You’re just trying to steal all men’s heart like your eomma.” He said, surprising Gary. Gary laughed at the surprising comment. “I think you’re better than your eomma at this.”
“Say hi, Keia…” Gary told her. Keia bowed lightly, her head pushed lightly by Gary.
