She looked at her watch. It’s already 6pm. At this rate, she’s going to be late for work. She knows her boss  will definitely scold her. It's Friday and it will be full house tonight.

Park Shin Hye works as a bartender in a bar called Sub Zero somewhere in Gangnam Street.  Weekends are the most dreaded time of the week as many people, mostly businessmen gather in their bar. They have private rooms wherein they can have their private parties. And honestly, she has no idea what happens inside that private rooms.

Finally, her bus came. She just prayed that traffic won’t be too heavy. She cannot bear to lose this job. She needs to finish her last year in university and at the same time support her mother’s medical treatment.

Her brother supports them but since he has his own family, it will not be enough for them. The money left when her dad passed away is being used for her mother’s treatment as well but sooner, it will be depleted. So she really need this job to survive.

She was being offered a different job. Pay is much higher but she needs to show some flesh. She will be dancing on center stage, wearing only skimpy bikinis but she felt she will collapse just the thought of it. Her friend, a r earns so much in just one day, equivalent to her weekly salary, not considering the tip from her customer. But she cannot  degrade herself much lower. She values herself and her family.

She was running, to beat the 7pm call time. She was inside the bar already when she bumped into someone. He was wearing a business suit and is about to go into one of the private rooms. The glass of water he was holding spilled over his suit.

“Oh my gosh, I am sorry Sir. I didn’t mean to bump into you. Please don’t be mad. It wasn’t my intention” she said apologetically

“!” said the man.

Shin Hye , her head bend and can’t looked at the man in front of her.

She lifted her head and looked at the man, towering over her.

“He is too gorgeous” she said to herself

Minho was really pissed. But after looking at the lady right in front of him, she was indeed pretty. All his anger gone.

“I didn’t mean to spill the water on you Sir. I am really running late. Please don’t be mad. Don’t call my manager” she pleaded.

He smiled. “I am not mad. But I will punish you later. I will think of something and later I may demand for some payment, Ms...”

“Park Shin Hye” and then he said while extending his hand “ Lee Min ho”.

Shin Hye took it, but she felt as if their touch has an electricity, giving chills to her skin. The intensity of his stares, making her knees weak.

“Do you work here?” he asked , not letting go of her hand.

“Yes Sir, as a matter of fact , I am late. Hope I may be excused now” said Shin Hye.

“Sure, but I will demand for the payment” and then he let Shin Hye go.

She dressed into her uniform. A white long sleeves with black vest and a skimpy skirt. She put on her makeup and gather her hair in a pony tail.

Minho waited for her until she took her place in the bar. There were men ordering mixed drinks from Shin Hye.
He bet it’s because of Shin Hye,that’s why men are lurking. And he didn’t like the thought of these men ogling around her. He was observing her while mixing the drink. There’s something in her, the way she moves. She looks so damned hot. Almost dancing while mixing the drinks, the way she smiles , in fact everything she does ...

Minho called the manager. And says something to him. His eyes widened with what Minho told him and he smiled, throwing a glance at Shin Hye.

“I’ll see what I can do”said the manager

Minho left the crowded area and went inside the private room.

The manager approached Shin Hye.

“A customer wants you to serve him tonight and he is willing to pay a high price”

“You know I don’t do that sort of thing. I am a bartender” said Shin hye.

“But he will pay you an amount equivalent to your 1 week salary. Think about the money you can take home tonight.  He promised that you will just serve him with the drinks we wants, the entire night. Nothing more” said the bar manager

“Ok, but we’re a bit short with bartender tonight” said Shin hye.

“Don’t worry, I already called Stephanie. She will stand in for you. Go to room number 8. He’s all alone so no worries” he said.

“I trust you on this”said Shin Hye.

Before going to room 8, she checked herself in the rest room. Why would this gorgeous looking man would want her. She fixed her makeup and her hair and uttered a deep sigh.

“You can do this. think about the medicines you can buy for your mother” and then she timidly went to the assigned room.

She knocked before entering and she heard him say “Come in” and then she smiled at him.

“Good Evening Sir. My manager told me that you want me to be your personal bartender for the night” said Shin Hye

He was looking at her and then she was surprised when he said “ There’s a bathroom out there. Can you just remove your heavy make up?” She just stood there, unable to walk.

He stood up from where he’s seated and held her hand and guide her to the bathroom. He took some wipes and held her face up and started to remove her makeup.

She was dumbfounded and can’t breathe. This is in fact the closest she had been with a man. She can almost hear his breathing.

“Close your eyes” he commanded and she oblige. And he continue to wipe the make up from her eyes.

Then he said “there, much better. I didn’t recognize you. Why cover your beautiful face with that disgusting makeup”

She looked at herself in the mirror and he was right. Heavy makeup didn’t fit her well. She knows it also but she needs to put a mask every time she reports for work.

He led her back to the room and he sat on the chair. She was standing in front of him.

“Well, there are 3 other chairs, unless you want to sit on my lap” said Minho

She almost stumbled to the chair and he said “I knew you would do that” making him smile.

“Why did you employ me for tonight? Let me tell you that I only work as a bartender. I am not the usual type of girl that works here. I am a student by day and I need this job” said Shin Hye.

“I know. You are not like those girls almost flaunting everything they got in every man that walks in. But there’s something in you that I find it hard to ignore” said Minho

He pulled a chair closer to her, almost in front of her.

“I want to take you out from this bar. You don’t belong here. I don’t know you, but there’s something in you that makes me want to protect you” said Minho

“Thank you but I don’t need protection. I am a tough girl and  I can handle every single man in this bar” said Shin Hye.

“I find it hard to believe” said Minho and then he added “ I don’t think you can handle me”

Shin Hye stared at him “What do you want from me?” she aksed

“I don’t know, but I want you to resign from this work. I don’t want other men lusting over you. You are far too innocent and I am afraid someone might take advantage of you” said Minho

“I think I should protect myself from you instead” said Shin Hye.

“I think so too. But believe me, I have the purest intention. You don’t belong here” said Minho

“I can’t. I have to work for my mother. She’s sick and i am also studying” said Shin Hye

“I will hire you instead” he said

“As what? “ she asked

“I will hire you as my fiancée” he said

“A what?” she asked

“My fiancée.  I need to produce a fiancée as soon as possible and you’re the most fit person for me” said Minho
