Did she just agreed? Shin Hye still can’t believe that she agreed to become his fake fiancée for two weeks. The amount he mentioned is huge enough to cover her mother’s one month medical treatment and her tuition for the last semester.

Before they parted ways, Minho gave his last minute instruction.

“You will be resigning tonight. I don’t want you to see you here tomorrow. I stand by with what I said. You don’t belong here. Focus on your new task. You have to be my ideal fiancée.

“I will be seeing you tomorrow. Let’s meet in Lee Empire Building. I need to brief you. We will be meeting my grandmother next weekend” said Minho

“Do you need me to talk to your manager? Or you can handle it?” he asked.

Dumbfounded, she just said “ I can handle it” said Shin Hye

“Sorry for the way I treated you a while ago. I behaved like one of those men.  It will not happen again” said Minho

Shin Hye smiled. Her heart flutter with his apology. This is the first time someone of his stature treated her with such importance

“You don’t have to apologize. It’s my fault for working at this bar. You don’t expect men to respect you. I didn’t expect you to be any different. But hearing your apology, you are really indeed different from them. And I thank you for that” said Shin Hye

“Well, let’s call it a night. Do you want me to bring you home?” he offered.

“No, Mr. Lee. I’d be staying for a while” said Shin Hye

“You can stay, but not as bartender. I don’t want you to go back inside. Wait here if you must. But don’t go back” said Minho

“Ok, I will stay here and I will just go down during closing” said Shin Hye

“Don’t forget about tomorrow. I expect you to be there at 9am. We don’t have office on Saturday but I will instruct the guard that you have an appointment with me” said Minho and then he took money from his wallet and hand it over to Shin Hye.

“I will be accepting this” she said

“Yes, this is my payment for the night” said Minho and he hated himself for sounding like she’s some sort of a .

“I didn’t mean to sound like...” and Shin Hye interrupted him

“Yes, this is your payment. No matter how much you refine your words, it is indeed your payment “ Shin Hye placed it inside her pocket.

“I will be there tomorrow “ and then she turned her back on him and stifled her cry “Excuse me, I need to use the bathroom” and there she cried.

Why does she felt too small now, she felt dirty for working inside this bar. No one would believe her that she’s not a and she still values her innocence. She doesn’t care before. But why does he makes her feel like this.

He felt like a complete . He heard her crying.

When she heard the door opened and closed again, she thought he left already. She washed her face and when she opened the bathroom door, much to her surprise, Minho was still there, holding a glass of water.

“Drink this first and then we’ll settle this” said Minho

She took the glass of water and frankly, it helped to calm her senses.

Minho took hold of her hand and led her to the chair. He sat beside her.

“I didn’t mean to imply like I am paying for any other services. Why would you think like that. Sorry, If I offended you. I assure you, that’s the last thing on my mind” said Minho

“And I am sorry for being a cry baby. I am not usually like this. But I just realized that you are correct.  I don’t belong here. I am at the threshold and thank you for pulling me up” said Shin Hye.

She smiled at him. This is the first time that he saw that smile. He felt something inside him. His heart, panting.

“You should smile often. It suits you” said Minho.

 “There are few reasons to smile” said Shin Hye

He took her hand and said “In this two weeks that you will be my fiancée, I will give you so many reasons to smile” said Minho.
