Minho left her in the living room while he get something from his room. Shin Hye was sitting on the couch and staring at her engagement ring. This must be an expensive ring.

She leaned her back on the couch and closed her eyes, reminiscing the entire proposal.  She could have been fooled. It really sounded like a real proposal. And now the more she felt pain in her heart. She must have been a fool to fall slowly in love with this guy. A guy beyond her reach.

Would there be thousands of possibilities for her & Minho? A lowly bartender and a rich businessman, what would their future be? Then she uttered a deep sigh. Take each day as it comes. Seize the moment. Enjoy everything while it last. This is only 3 weeks and after three weeks, she can do whatever she likes. Go back to the bar, or even apply on firms but definitely, far away from Lee Minho.

Minho went back to the living room and saw Shin Hye, with her eyes closed. Is she sleeping? What’s happening to him? He didn’t regret kissing her. That is the one thing he wants to do at that very moment. But he can also feel she’s pulling back. 

He cleared his throat and sat beside her. Shin Hye opened her eyes, Minho looking at her.

“Why did you kiss me? And to think , you did it twice already?” she asked

“Are you mad?”he asked

“I  should be but I guess I am a willing victim but please don’t do it specially if we are not being watched by your grandmother. If you do it again, let’s just terminate our agreement. Please do not forget that I am just your employee and that is not part of my job” said Shin Hye

“I think you are mad”he said

“No, I am not mad” she said

Minho held her shoulder and look intently at her “ Shin Hye, I don’t know what’s happening between the two of us, or what’s happening with me but this is the first time I been this impulsive. I cannot promise I won’t kiss you again but promising that would be next to impossible but one thing I can assure you, I won’t do it unless you initiated it” said Minho

“Yah, are you insinuating something? You kissed me remember?” said Shin Hye

“And you kissed me back” said Minho, smiling naughtily at her.

“So are we just going to discuss who kissed who? I thought you were to brief me about your grandmother” said Shin Hye, trying to avoid the topic.

“You are so good avoiding a topic” said Minho as he show the pictures of his family

“This is my family. My parents were both dead already and I have an older sister. I love her but sometimes she’s just too much to handle. She feels the need to control me. Trying to become a mother to me , though we are just only 4 years apart. She feels that she’s responsible for me. And here’s my grandmother. She took care of us when my parents died. She’s all we got. Now she’s sick, she want to be assured that I have someone with me. Someone who will love me and will take care of me more than she did” said Minho

“Now I think I can’t do this. It’s seems we are betraying her trust” said Shin Hye

“My grandmother is one stubborn lady. She doesn’t want to undergo any treatment if I will not introduce my fiancée. She asked me how did we met. I told her I saw you in a photo exhibit. You were carefully eyeing the photo’s taken by a common friend and when our eyes met, instantly, we fell in love” said Minho

She laughed.

“Why are you laughing?” he asked

“You’ll make a good story writer” and then she added “ What if she founds out the truth?”

“Right now, I just want to assure her that I will be fine and she needs to take a risk to undergo the medical treatment. This will encourage her more” said Minho

“You really love her?” she said

“Yes, I do” said Minho

Then he said “ We need to go out. We need to buy you new clothes, shoes, go to a salon”

“Why? I have few clothes at home” said Shin Hye

“Please, let me handle this. As my fiancée, you need to look good in front of my grandmother. It will not be a one time introduction. She may ask us to visit her more often” said Minho

“I don’t have money to buy for those things” she said

“Don’t worry about it, I will handle it” said Minho

“Can you just deduct it from the amount that you’re going to pay me? I don’t like owing some things to other people” said Shin Hye

“It’s a gift from me” said Minho
