Seunghyun just came out of the theatre when he received a phone call from his mother. He had just attended his movie premiere and made his debut as an actor, he thought he would phone his mother and tell her how it went  before he received her call. She spoke frantically over the phone and she sounded scared, which scared him. His mother was always composed, he couldn’t think of anything as he was rushed to the hospital to see his father. His father had a and was being treated at the hospital.

He can’t die right now, he’s too young, I’M too young, I’m not ready for this. Seunghyun thought. Twenty-three years of his life, his dad was always busy with work and never had time to spend with Seunghyun. He always wished his father would give him some attention, yet his father would make empty promises and never even had the time to show up at his events.

Although his father was a well respected businessman, Seunghyun was always mistaken as a single-child, his peers and other parents would always assume that Seunghyun only had his mother. In elementary, his classmates would and bully him about not having a father, while Seunghyun would argue back that his father was just busy, his classmates labeled him as a liar and the teasing and bullying worsened.
