When Sehun was finally allowed to see him, Luhan was awake, albeit only barely. His frail body was connected to various machines that gave off alien sounds. Other than those, the hospital room was filled with an eerie silence.

"Just what happened to you?" It was the younger that spoke first, broken words slipping off his lips in a strangled whisper."Luhan... why?" he asked, his question hanging in the air. He kept on staring at his best friend, taking in every single detail of his appearance.

The boy on the bed, the Luhan on the bed... wasn't the one he had known for so many years. He was tiny and frail with skin as pale as paper and dull hair that covered his glassy eyes. He was clad in a hospital gown and nothing else.

"So you didn't get my text What a pity." The blond winced a little as another wave of excruciating pain flared up in his chest, heartbeat escalating once more."You saw me on my deathbed. Go now, Oh. I know that you want to crush me, but your job was done by something else. You can laugh, though, if you want. But please, do me a favor and forget me." each word came out between ragged breaths, but Luhan was intent on finishing his sentences. He had rehearsed them before in case something like this had happened. He had whispered those words to his fading reflection in the mirror so many times that even as death was lingering in the room, ready to claim him, he was able to say them by ease.

However, he hadn't expected the reaction he received.

"Idiot!" Sehun screeched, hitting the wall behind the boy with shattering strength."You... you seriously think I'm here to hurt you even more? Luhan!" he was on the brink of shaking the weak boy. Only the fact that he could have killed Luhan just by one mere touch was able to stop his fury."I was mad at you before, sure. But do you know what you made me today? You made me furious, you bastard!"
