The gleam of the sunlight reflected on Jiyeon’s face which made her wake up from a deep sleep beside Myungsoo with her head on his shoulder while his head was resting above hers. As she opened her eyes, she suddenly felt something weird going on inside her chest, it’s like her heart beat is racing and she don’t know why, is it because of how close Myungoo's and her body is and the feeling of his arm around her or is it just because it’s her first time sleeping beside a guy.

She slowly lifted her head up waking Myungsoo up unintentionally, he furrowed his eyebrows before rubbing his eyes and looked outside. Jiyeon just stared at him and watched his every gesture before he looked at her and she looked away before getting up then run downstairs.

She felt strange, yes he looks great though he just woke up but Jiyeon found herself weird being dazed by such thing, she’s not that kind of girl who fascinates guys, she mostly does not give attention them, but to Myungsoo, it feels different, it makes her want to just stare at everything he does the whole day which she finds engrossing.

Jiyeon washed her face and breathed deeply before drinking a glass of water, washing her thoughts away about him and then she accidentally dropped the glass on the floor, Myungsoo heard the loud noise at the kitchen and rushed downstairs before he saw Jiyeon picking up the broken pieces putting those on her palm, he quickly grabbed her hand letting the pieces fall on the floor back.

“Are you okay?” Myungsoo asked before looking at her hand with blood from a finger, he immediately the blood from it as Jiyeon looked at what he was doing with her eyes bulging, she thought her heart would burst from beating rapidly as she felt Myungsoo her finger before she pulled it back and looked away.

“Stay away, I’ll clean these up” Myungsoo said while gathering the broken pieces of glasses.

“No It’s—“ Jiyeon insisted but Myungsoo shot her with his grim look before she stood up and stepped away from the kitchen.

It's evening already and Myungsoo who was sitting at the balcony got a call from Mr. Yang

“Remember what Mr. Park did for you” this sentence kept repeating inside his head and recalled what happened to him when he was still 10 years old, he got kidnapped for ransom along with other children who came from a well known family by some unknown men, and Mr. Yang along with Mr. Park who is Jiyeon’s father, were Korean Navy armed guards before they became one of the most successful business men from underground businesses to huge legal enterprises, saved him from those men who kidnapped him.

After that happened, he professed to do anything in return to Mr. Park, he trained himself and stayed with Mr. Yang to become useful to to Mr. Park when the time will come he’ll need him, this is the whole reason  that encouraged him do whatever it takes to ascertain Jiyeon’s safety.

Myungsoo breathed deeply closing his eyes before going back inside and went straight to the kitchen to get some drinks he and Jiyeon bought yesterday.

While he was at the living room sitting on the couch while watching TV and drinking a soju, Jiyeon went out from her room after a long sleep since she only slept a little last night because of the thunderstorm. Jiyeon sat beside while glancing at him and back to the tv.

“You want?” Myungsoo offered and Jiyeon just smiled before taking the bottled soju from him.

She tried to drink a sip
