Myungsoo decided to find Jiyeon after waiting for her to get back for almost 2 hours, as he opened the gate an old car stopped in front before he saw Jiyeon inside the car talking to the guy at the driver’s seat, he stepped back and slightly closed the gate hiding himself at the side while still taking a peek at them.

While Jiyeon was choosing  the cake for Myungsoo’s birthday she glanced at the wall clock displayed inside the shop and almost jumped after she saw the time, she did not know she has been spending too much time outside and Myungsoo would probably be angry now if he’s already at home. She then immediately bought a cake.

As she was running on her way to the bus station, she bumped to the guy she met a while ago.

“You were—the girl a from a while ago” Mino said pointing at Jiyeon with a happy grin from seeing her again while Jiyeon was leaning on her knees panting hard.

“Are you okay?” Mino asked tilting his head to see her face clearly which is covered by her long hair.

“I’m—on—a—hurry—“ she said word by word between her pantings.

“Then! I’ll just bring you to where you are going to, my father left his car for me to use tonight to go home” he pointed at the car parked near their cake shop, it does not look like other expensive cars but it’s better to ride that than running to the bus station which is still half meters away.

“Don’t worry, I’ll bring you home safe, I’m not a bad guy” he displayed a playful grin at her with his matching eyesmile.

“Ahh… I really don’t think like about you but it would be a bother to you if you’ll take me to our house since it’s far from here” Jiyeon forced a smile, though she would really feel grateful if he’ll bring her home but she doesn’t want to take advantage at Mino’s kindness.

“No no, It’s not a bother to me, and it’s getting dark, it would be dangerous for you to go home alone, let’s go” he then went first to the car and opened the front seat for Jiyeon. She then followed not wanting to waste a minute knowing that she’s been outside for long enough and she’s sure Myungsoo is already at home.

“You did not tell me your name when we met a while ago, you must have found me really weird” he started asking questions to Jiyeon on their way to the old house.

“Ah, mianhe I was just not sure if I should tell you since I just met you at the cake shop” JIyeon explained  smiling at him awkwardly.

“Aniyo aniyo, it’s alright. I know, I acted really strange a while ago” he chuckled while waving his hand at Jiyeon. “But since, we’re chinggus now right? I should know your name, and you already know mine”

“Dae, I’m Jiyeon” she smiled as he took glance at her.

“Ooh, it’s nice to finally know your name Jiyeon chinggu” he playfully chuckled.

“It’s nice to meet you too Mino-ssi” she chuckled slightly before Mino shook his head.

“Let’s cut the formalities here, just call me Mino, arasso?” he grinned at her before focusing back on the road.

“Okay, Mino chinggu!” Jiyeon showed a slightly thrilled giggle ‘he’s fun to talk with’ she thought before Mino asked for the direction to her house.

“Woah, your house is big” Mino exaggerated as he saw the old house she is living in with Myungsoo.

“Ah—aniyo, it looks kinda big outside but the space inside is so narrow” she chuckled before thanking him.

 “I’ll get going now, bye and thanks for the cake” she smiled while waving her hand holding the box of cake.

“No biggies, hope to see you again” he waved his hand at him before he drove away going back to the shop.

As Jiyeon stepped inside after opening the gate, Myungsoo’s figure with his hands inside his pocket and a serious stare confronted her right after she entered, Jiyeon felt small just by meeting his sight and looked down avoiding to look at his eyes.

“So you let a guy bring you home because of a cake?” he strictly said before he scoffed.

“Is that what you wanted? To get out from here and to spend almost a day outside with a guy like him whom you don’t even know that well?” he sneered still looking at her raising his tone.

He took a deep sigh and looked away before he faced his back at her and walked on his way back inside the house.

“None of all you said is true, I—I just went outside because… I thought of buying you something” Jiyeon gathered her courage beneath her frightened look to Myungsoo, it’s unfair for her to get scolded for such things she did not meant to do.

Myungsoo stopped on the doorstep as Jiyeon suddenly spoke, he slightly turned his head on the side to listen to her.
