The moment they got inside Jiyeon roamed her sight around the house, she then followed Myungsoo who was going upstairs.

“This will be your room” he opened the door of a room opposite to the living room and beside it is his room. Jiyeon nodded and went inside after Myungsoo left and gone inside his room.

Jiyeon threw herself on the bed and wrapped her body with the old bed cloth she got from the cabinet after washing, and then suddenly she heard a knock.

“You need something?” Jiyeon asked after she opened the door slightly.

Myungsoo scanned her from head to toe as he saw Jiyeon wearing only her tank top and shorts.

He cleared his throat before speaking “Tomorrow, we’re going out to buy something” he said and turned his back at her going back to his room.

“Wait…L-ssi”

He then looked back at her “What?”

“Nothing… I just want to say—thank you” she smiled softly at him and immediately went back inside her room.

Myungsoo just blinked and went back inside his room letting his back fall on the bed “What is she thanking me for” he thought and slowly closed his eyes.

The next morning, Myungsoo woke up from the noise of utensils from the kitchen which sounds like breaking and falling. He groaned before getting up brushing his hair getting annoyed by the noise which caused him to wake up at such an early hour after a tiring night.

“Ya…” he spoke as he saw Jiyeon on the kitchen. He went near her as she was stepping back holding a ladle while cooking.

“What are you doing?” He stared with a straight face at her then back to the pan.

“I—I’m making pancake, I saw a box on the cabinet and decided to cook it for breakfast” she explained while still trying to flip the pancake while stepping back.

“Let me do it” L said plainly and tried to hold the frying pan's handle.

“No no, I got this” she said and went near the pan again and tried to flip the pancake over ending up throwing it outside the frying pan. She just stared at it then back to L’s face.

Jiyeon just decided to go sit and just watch him since she really does not have any talent for cooking while L became the cook for the day.

“Here” he placed a plate of pancakes on the table while Jiyeon was ready to dig it in “I’m getting more sleep so eat by yourself” he yawned again before stepping out the kitchen.

“Wait! You’re not eating?” she asked looking at him going back upstairs. “I’m more tired than hungry” he then went straight away to his room.

Jiyeon suddenly felt guilty for waking him up from the noise she made while cooking “I’ll just set this aside for him” she mumbled and left some for him before she went back to her room.

She lied on her back and stared at the ceiling after having her breakfast and sighed “Why are we staying here? Won’t he bring me to Mr. Yang?” she thought “Should I ask him? Maybe later, I just got to find a right timing when he’s in a good mood” She jumped out from bed after she heard a knock coming from her room’s door.

“Change to some thicker clothes, we’re going out”

“Hm? Where to?” she asked and L just stared at him.

“Ah last night you said we’re going to buy something—wait, I’ll change quickly” she replied and closed the door as soon as she finished talking.

L waited outside where his motorcycle is parked before Jiyeon arrived and went immediately on his back as she wrapped both of her arms around him holding his jacke
