“Ya ya… Teo-ya, stop running!” Jiyeon called loudly as she ran after him, who was playing around her room. Teo went near to a shelf which was next to her bed and played with the boxes placed above making  an old photo fall on the floor, Jiyeon reached and took a look at it before hiding it behind her back as she saw Kai coming.

“Appaaaaa” Teo called excitedly after seeing Kai and ran on his way towards him, Kai opened both of his arms before carrying the little boy on his embrace.

“Aigoo~ how’s my baby?” Teo displayed a wide grin seeing his dad’s face and played with Kai’s curled hair.

Jiyeon just smiled seeing the interaction between the two.

“Let’s go to your room Teo aegie, it’s time to sleep” he smiled warmly as he leaned to brush his forehead against Teo’s  before glancing back at Jiyeon.

After the two left, Jiyeon looked at the photo which fell from the box displayed above the shelf and realized it's the photo she has been keeping for years, seen there is a guy wearing all black and herself with a school uniform....

 “They said her name is Jiyeon” A guy wearing a black suit and a black hat said as he was looking for something inside his suit case “And... here’s her picture” he said as he handed the photo to a guy wearing a black shirt with a very fair white complexion.

“Where is she now?” He hummed before he asked the guy with a hat.

“Ah, here, the address of where she’s staying, be careful by the way. She’s with her aunt with a husband who is a leader of a mafia, we heard that they have been keeping her for the money and all the properties she will inherit from her father” he stated some of the information about the girl and continued on his way out from the abandoned building.

Jiyeon is a daughter of a very affluent family, but because of a terrible accident that happened 2 months ago, both of her parents died as well as her older brother. She has been living with her aunt now who is a wife of a mafia boss and has been waiting for her to turn 21 to get all the assets she will make out of the inheritance.

“Auntie, I’m going to buy something… can I go out for a bit?” she said with a faltering voice.

“Why can’t you just go ask one of our maids?” her auntie answered in a loud tone obviously getting irritated as Jiyeon always asks the same thing every day.

“It’s okay, I could go by myself. Can I?” she said in a pleasing way and slowly made her way to the door.

“And who said you could go out?” Her uncle appeared in front of the door way which made her step back.

They have been locking her inside the house because they thought, if they would let her go outside she would abandon the two of them and it would be a big loss on their part.

“I—I haven’t been out the house a month already. Why are you locking me here?” she asked in a sad tone, she became so depressed all by herself inside her room and is able to only go at the garden for her home schooling.

“We said it already right? How long we would keep on repeating this for you? There are many people who are watching you and wanting for you because of your rich dad who is now dead, what if they will kidnap you?! We would get all the responsibilities for it and…. We’re also worried for you” Jiyeon’s aunt said word by word clearly, bulging her eyes out and loud enough for the neighbors to hear as she said the last 5 words softly but evidently it’s just a plain lie.

Jiyeon pursed her lips displaying a very down face as she ran back to her room. She felt her eyes becoming wet as her tears are about to fall but she held back herself from crying.
