"Come on, we've spoken about this. You need to smile more"

"I'm trying" I sigh, looking up at my boss. 

"Then try harder Taekwoon. People aren't going to buy things from people who frighten their children"

"I always smile at children" I counter with a little annoyance lacing my voice. He groans and massages his temples

"Then how come you can't smile at the adults?" My boss looks almost regretful as I open my mouth. I close it before any words come out. Why didn't I smile at the adults? They were closer to my age, my maturity so why smile at their offspring only?

"I'm not sure" I furrow my eyebrows as I speak. "Why don't we conduct an experiment then? Go and smile at every customer who you come into contact with...or you're fired" 

SAY WHAT

"But-"

"Go! And remember...I'll be watching" he says with a smirk as he points to the security system above the door

I nod and sigh, standing up and leaving the room quietly; my brain working as loudly as ever 

Stupid boss, blackmailing me with the security system I told him to install.

A few of my co-workers nodded at me, knowing from past experiences that I wouldn't smile back, so can you imagine how pestering Lee Jaehwan became when I smiled at the boy

"Taekwoon-hyung! My god, are you sick? Should I call a doctor!?"

"Shut up Jaehwan" I hiss pushing his hand off my forehead and moving his big nose out of my face

Stupid Ken and his big nose

"There's the Leo I know" he chuckles before someone calls his name, telling him to get back to it. He winks at me before rushing off, letting me go back to work

I saw a young teen, maybe 18 or 19 looking around, looking like a lost puppy in the aisle of clothing. I almost felt sorry for the guy as I walked over to help him; he was going to be the first person to deal with my little experiment on smiling. The poor guy 

"Hello sir, can I help you with anything?"

He turns around and I try my absolute best to smile normally. How do people do this everyday? How do they know whether or not to smile showing their teeth?

Stupid people and their smiles

"Oh hi, yes you can. Actually please, I'm in desperate need of help. I'm going on a date tonight and I don't own anything apart from my school uniform and my track pants"

Oh wow, another kid freaking out over a date. We get so many of things it's not even funny

"Follow me sir, and we'll see what we can find"

I  take the teen to the male section and immediately start picking things out. I had two pairs of jeans, three T-Shirts and two sweaters when I turned around to hand them over 

"Sir if you'd-"

"Hyuk. My name's Hyuk. Sir makes me feel old and I'm 99% sure I'm younger than you" Hyuk chuckled as I handed the clothes over 

"Well Hyuk, try these on and call me when you're done"

He nodded and walk off to the change rooms, leaving me to look around for something to do. I hoped I got his size right. Sometimes I was glad of the stereotype people have of gay people. I like clothes almost as much as I like

A few minutes later Hyuk walks out wearing jeans, a checkered button-up shirt and a reddy-brown sweater. I smirked slightly and raise my eyebrows

"What do you think?" I questioned. The teen nodded frantically and smiled a large cheesy smile

"I look hot!"

I couldn't help but chuckle and this time my smile didn't feel so forced, in fact I didn't wen realise it was there until I heard myself laughing 

"Well unless there's anything else you need?" He shakes his head and smiles brightly at me. 

"No thank you so much!" He goes back to change into his old clothes so I walk off, noticing it's my lunch break finally

The door to the staff room opened and in walked Officer Big-Nose and Kim Wonshik, well Ravi. Only Ken can call him Wonshik because, and I quote, "Wonshik sounds beautiful coming out of Ken's mouth"

How come everyone's getting some and I'm not? Is it because I don't smile? I'm trying! Even the little guy Hyuk is getting some!

"Just because I'm not looking at you, doesn't mean I can't hear you making out. Give his tongue back Ken"

I hear a groan and know it's coming from Ken's disgustingly skilled mouth.

"You're no fun hyung" I hear Ravi whine and I wanted to roll my eyes at the guy

"I'm not obliged to be fun. It's your decision to be friends with someone like me"

They don't say anything, instead Ravi changed the subject and began telling us how he had to some some guy find romantic music because a guy he liked was coming over for dinner

"Funny, I just helped a guy find some clothes because he was going on a date tonight. Hyuk was his name"

Ravi's eyes widen in the way that only Ravi's can. "Legit? This guy, Hongbin, said his boyfriend-to-he's name was Hyuk! How amazing is that!?"

"It's hardly amazing Ravi. A coincidence, yes, but amazing is overdoing it"

"You're a sourpuss, I think it's romantic. They're both trying so hard. That's what love is about" Ken sighed dreamily, making me want to puke

"Love? They're probably going to bang each other once and they'll never see each other again; and on the off chance that they do, they'll act like strangers"

"What is wrong with you Taekwoon? You need to stop being so freaking negative!"

"A boyfriend is what he needs"

I turn to glare at Ravi and Ken pouts, "Don't point your negativity at my boyfriend"

"Stuff this, my breaks over anyway" I mumble angrily, slamming the door to the staff room shut as I go

Stupid people telling me to get a boyfriend 

I saw a guy standing with his back to me, looking through a rack of jeans an yet assorted pants. I went over to ask him if he needed any assistance hen my eyes noticed something

He had one mighty fine on him 

My eyes were glued to his and my jaw was on the floor; but suddenly my view was disturbed when he man turned around

"Oh good, someone who works here!"

He was almost as loud as Ken, God bless his soul. Although it didn't matter his loud he was, he could be a murderer and I don't think I'd care because oh my ing God he was gorgeous

He could me anytime

Wait what?

I mean kill...kill, not . I meant he could me anytime.

! 

"Hello!? Earth to Taekwoon!?"

"I'm sorry, I fazed-How do you know my name?" I ask, completely and utterly shocked 

{And don't forget hard}

Shut up!

"It's on your name tag genius" the guy rolls his eyes. "But if we're introducing ourselves, I'm N" he holds out his hand and without even knowing it I found myself shaking it. He had a firm grip

{I bet your hand isn't the only place you want his firm grip}

Where the did all this come from? 

"You faze out a lot don't you?" N's voice brings me out of my mental battle with myself

This guy has made me crazy already and we haven't even had a 5 minute conversation 

{He's also made your crazy too}

"OK YOU NEED TO SHUT THE UP!"

N jumped back a little and looked incredibly hurt at my words. 

Oh . 

Ohhh

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to say that allowed! I didn't even mean to say it to you, I was saying it to myself because of you-I'm making this worse aren't I?"

"Ohhhh yeah" N raises an eyebrow as he stands there, hand on his hip; waiting for an explanation 

"Well...you're just really, really hot" I say, cringing mentally. 

I'm sooo fired 

His eyes widen and he looks almost embarrassed, but that look is suddenly gone and a new one shows itself 

"You're not too bad yourself"

"Say what?"

"Meet me in the change rooms, I can see the future and my future shows me having GREAT difficulty zipping up a pair of jeans"

He smirks slightly before walking off, slapping my as he goes.
