FANFIC SEQUEL REQUEST | 3K | HOT CHOCOLATE 2.0

All she want is giving others happiness, but she can’t bring her own happiness. 
Every night she always wakes up at 2am, crying.

The mirror reflection shown a smiling face, it’s so amusing her. She ties her hair into pony tails, grab her bag and walking in the freezing air. She put her hands into the pocket of her red coat, she hope the weather will getting warm.

“Good morning soojung” Jimin unnie greeted her, with her bob hair she always look so cute. Soojung greet her back, while put the apron on her. She will keep herself busy for the next 12 hours. Forget about things that she uses to think during night.

Jimin always jealous of soojung, the girl always work with a smile on her face. Despite how bad the customer does to her, she will always smile. She also know soojung always bring a spare of her hot chocolate to the park nearby and giving it free for those random people that look sad.

“Soojung I never see the guy that always waited for you again, what his name again?” Jimin asked during their break

“Jongin? he is busy” Soojung smiles “Unnie, I’m going first” Soojung said

Jung Soojung is the person who never boasted about her private life. She think it was unnecessary if she boasted about her life, because she knows people probably think differently from her. Like 2 years ago, people talked about her kindness and take it as she was trying to impress her boss to get promotion.

Nobody knows what her going through all these years, no one. Not even jongin.

Soojung blamed herself for bumping too jongin that day on park. She never thought that jongin will do the same thing that the man on her past does to her. The man that she thought is the one for her.

After her shift end, soojung walked into the table near the cashier table to see Ji-eun. The girl has waited for her since afternoon, just for doing a small talk. “Is it really okay if we talked in here?” Jieun asked her. “It’s okay, I’m in charge to closed the café today anyway”

Ji-eun takes a deep breath before talking “You know, we just meet twice-” “it’s the third time” Soojung corrected her, ji-eun nod. “I don’t know why, but it seems like you’re my old friend” Soojung could only smiles in respond.

“So soojung” Ji-eun eyes spotted the name tag that placed on her apron “I need someone to talks to”

It’s 2am when soojung sit in the chair facing the window looking at the night sky. There is no stars it just a purely black. Yesterday ji-eun talks about the boy that makes her feel happy, the boy that uses to make her happy too. The same kim jongin.

“He suddenly said he couldn’t meet me again, I thought it was okay since I only meet him for like 2 weeks” ji-eun paused “but I find myself crying in the night thinking that I can’t letting him go” She chuckles.

Same soojung thought

“I want you to teach me how to make hot chocolate, so I can make him one and hope that he will feel better we can—you know”

“I--”

“They said your hot chocolate can light someone moods up” Ji-eun said

“Okay”

She can’t believe, that she agreed to help the girl that doesn’t have any idea that she has stoles her happiness. But after all it wasn’t ji-eun fault that they broke up. Soojung thought it was her fault not to say yes to him when he apologizes. But she doesn’t want to get hurt twice from a same man. Not again.

“So, do you have a boyfriend?” Ji-eun asked while watching soojung mixing the chocolate with some ingredients that she doesn’t have any idea what it was.

“Currently single” soojung smiles

“It’s weird, you’re pretty and nice. How come you don’t have one”

Soojung poured a hot chocolate carefully to the mug “Maybe because I can’t paint and sing better like you”

Ji-eun raised her eyebrow “How did you know that I like paint and sing”

“I meet you with the boy around the park that I use to visit, you were painting there. Then I know you sing through-- umm friend I know” Soojung act looked so natural

“Oh yeah, anyway if jongin meets you before me he probably will fall for you first”

‘He did’

Soojung can’t sleep, ji-eun was so nice to her. She did want jongin back, but the boy never takes any effort to back to her again. After she told jongin to back off, he really disappear. She never sees him standing in front her house or at least trying to see her disguise as a customer like he uses to when she was angry.

Jongin stared at the picture on his table, she miss her like everyday. He heard a knock from his door hope it was soojung, but he know it will never be her.

“Hi..”

Jongin invites ji-eun in. He wondered how could she know his home? Ji-eun placed a white box on the table.

“What is that?” Jongin asked

“Two hot chocolates and cup cakes, made by me with a help from friend” Ji-eun said proud

“She told me that she always fail in love. She doesn’t know why, she said she probably not pretty enough to make her boy stays. That’s ridiculous because I think she is prettier than me” Ji-eun said shipped her hot choco.

“I asked her when the last time she in relationship and she answered it was 2 years ago.”

Jongin confused it wasn’t him then.

“She has a guy named sehun, she loves him so much and she thinks the guy loves her equally, but it turn that she finds him hangout with another girl. She forgives him because he said he will change because he loves her so much.-”

“But he never change, he cheat with her own best friend named sulli” Jongin continued her

“How did you know?” Ji-eun asked

2 month ago, soojung meet a little girl named sulli. Soojung froze and jongin asked why, she told him that the little girl has a same name as her best friend. Her name is sulli and her boyfriend is sehun. Jongin realize that he knows nothing about her. All this time it was soojung who tries to understand him.

“Ji-eun I’m sorry, I shouldn’t meet you. You know that you deserve better” Jongin said

“You know her don’t you?”

Jongin nod “I hurt her and I meet you, we meet in the wrong time. I’m sorry..”

“That’s okay, I know there is no place for me in your heart anyway.” Ji-eun smiles bitterly

“Thank you for coming” Jimin said smiling to the customer after giving him his order.

She is in charge to be a cashier today. Then she quite shocked to see jongin, it’s been a while.

Jimin smiling at the boy “May I help you- jongin right?” She said cutely

“Soojung’s hot chocolate one please”

“Umm, if you looking for soojung. She takes a break today. She wasn’t feeling well, so still want to order or?”

“Oh.. ” Jongin move from the cashier and thanked to jimin.

He let out his phone, wandering if it’s okay to him to visit her? or should he call her first?? Jongin pressed a dial to soojung’s phone, but she not picking up his call.

There is no sign that soojung was in home, her little home in the roof of one mini mart looks empty. Jongin doesn’t know where to find her, then the ahjumma who own the building come to him.

“Are you looking for soojung?” Ahjumma asked, jongin nod

“She’s left since early morning. She said she doesn’t know if she will come back today or not”

“May I know, where she going?” Jongin asked politely

The ahjumma shook her head “She doesn’t tell me where she’s going, but there is young guy like you who pick her. I think she might go far away from here”

A young guy? Jongin couldn’t help, but feels jealous and furious.

It’s almost midnight, but there is no sign of soojung coming back to home. He guess, soojung wouldn’t come. So he gave up waited for her.

But jongin were wrong not long after jongin stepped away from soojung’s small home. Soojung comes with a young guy named suho. “See you” Suho said bids a goodbye to soojung.
