Chanyeol and Baekhyun rarely had Saturdays to themselves ever since Kai and Kyungsoo purchased that cottage they rented for their wedding and the clique always spent their weekends there. These days Suho prefers to stay away from the club saying he’s attached to Lay and whatnot and the club is a dangerous place, but they had unanimously (and secretly) came to the conclusion that his body was just catching up with him and he wasn’t up for a night of crazy partying anymore. Which wasn’t a bad idea, considering a private pool party on the outskirts of Seoul was a better way for a bunch of friends to let loose and unwind after a week of work. However, the newly wedded couple decided they needed more couple time for themselves and that was how Chanyeol had Baekhyun’s legs draped over his own on their couch with a bowl of popcorn between them as they went on a Harry Potter movie marathon.

“Hey giant,” Baekhyun murmured dreamily as he reached into the bowl of popcorn and caught his engagement ring sparkling under the sunlight instead.
“Hmm?” Chanyeol smiled and held Baekhyun’s hand in his before pressing a kiss onto the ring adorning his finger.
“What do you think of having a sound wave design on our wedding rings in the future? Like the waveform of us saying I do or I love you or something.”
“How about I love you and I do?” the giant grinned.
“Sounds like a plan.” Baekhyun scooted closer to his fiancé and threw his arms around the giant, leaning against him comfortably.
“We should probably do some renovations to the apartment. And get new furnitures too.”
“A new bed,” Baekhyun nodded his head immediately. “This one is getting too creaky and we’re pissing off the neighbors.”
Chanyeol erupted in uncontrollable laughters as memories of their neighbors both next door and downstairs started shouting at them despite it being late into the night, although he had to admit Baekhyun and him weren’t that quiet either so they probably deserved it.

Somehow in the midst of their discussions, the movie marathon was forgotten and the popcorn had overturned as Chanyeol swept Baekhyun up in his arms, lips firmly locked on each others as Baekhyun’s fingers found their way into the giant’s silver locks. Baekhyun had Chanyeol’s body locked firmly beneath his but that didn’t mean the giant couldn’t mesh their faces together as he had Baekhyun in a fervent lip lock, tongue slipping into his cavern. Baekhyun’s fingers were lingering dangerously close to Chanyeol’s hip when the vibrations and shrill ringing of a phone startled the both of them, bumping their noses into each other’s as they parted reluctantly. Baekhyun got off Chanyeol before he snatched his phone off the coffee table, not bothering to hide his lack of breath. “Hello?”

“Emergency!” a distressed Suho nearly shouted and Baekhyun pulled the phone away from his ear for good measure.
“Suho? What is it? Do you need someone in the studio right now for a live read?”
“What is that veggie you use for decorating called?”
“Veggie?” Baekhyun scrunched his nose up in confusion. He was expecting a work-related emergency. “Parsley?”
“Oh, right!” Suho muttered something unintelligible under his breath before continuing. “Are buckwheat noodles easy to cook? Is it ideal for pasta?”
“It’s fat- and cholesterol-free so I imagine it’s going to make a really healthy plate of pasta. And yes, you can use it for pasta.”
“Great, thanks for your help!” the line was dropped before Baekhyun could question him further but he shrugged and tossed the phone aside before grinning and looping his arms around Chanyeol again.

“Suho cooks?” Chanyeol placed his hands on Baekhyun’s hips as their lips hovered near each others again.
“He doesn’t. I’ve no idea what he’s doing.” Baekhyun’s breath fanned against Chanyeol and tickled the latter into light chuckles. Their lips had barely met when Baekhyun’s phone started ringing again and the DJ groaned before answering and putting it on loudspeaker for Chanyeol’s benefit.

“Is buckwheat pasta supposed to be tomato based or cream based?”
“Your pasta can be whatever base you wish, Suho. You can even make it garlic and olive oil if you wish, though I do prefer cream based.”
“What ingredients do I need for cream based?”
“What are you even doing, Suho? I thought your kitchen was just for display?”
There was some awkward chuckle from the other end of the line. “Well… it’s my first year anniversary with Lay so I was going to prepare a romantic dinner for two.”
“Wow, happy anniversary!” Chanyeol exclaimed cheerfully. “I can’t believe it’s your first year together already!”
“Thanks, Chanyeol.” the Programming Director sounded almost shy. “Anyway, what ingredients do I need?”
“You’re going to burn down your house if you try to cook.” Baekhyun stated matter-of-factly. “Remember that time you wanted to make some instant noodles?”
“Well…” Suho’s voice droned on. “I kinda promised Lay no expensive restaurants.”
