The boys were told never too go in there. Especially Kai. Kai could teleport, and he was very sneaky at it. He would use his power too sneak up on some of the boys that were of a fainter heart, like Tao. He would give Tao such a fright that the poor boy would stop time as an instant reaction.
This particular room was never an interest to Kai. It was empty. It had the same stark white walls as the rest of the compound. It bored him. Too much white. Kai liked colors, and he was never satisfied with the coloring books and crayons the caretakers supplied all the boys with. And everytime Kai drew on the walls, it would be gone the next day. No matter how much he yelled and screamed and banged his fists and threw his crayons, the pictures he drew never stayed on the walls.
When his crayons and books bored him, he wandered over to the window that looked into the forbiden room. He peeped up on his tippy toes and looked into the room that had the same white walls as the rest of the compound. Maybe if he drew in there, his pictures would stay. Kai gethered up all the crayons he could fit
