Lay awoke to red lights.

Bathed in red light.

Lay got out of bed and opened his door.
The hallway was also lit up red.
At the end of the hall, by Sehun's and Yuri's rooms, caretakers were in a panic.
Lay looked down the other side of the hall.
Xiumin was peeking out of his door.
Lay turned back.
Chanyeols door had opened.
Two heads peeked out.
Chanyeol and Baekhyun.
No Chen.
All four boys watched the caretakers with curiosity.
Then they heard the screaming.
D.O.'s head popped out of his door before he missed it.
A caretaker dragged a boy through the other caretakers,
Sehun.
He was screaming like a madman.
"YURI"
"YURI COME BACK"
"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE"
"DON'T HATE US YURI"
"COME BACK"
"YURI"
"DON'T LEAVE ME"
"YOU CAN'T"
"PLEASE YURI"
"DON'T LEAVE"

The caretaker roughly threw Sehun into his room.
Then they shut and locked the door.
At this point all the boys were watching from their rooms.
All the boys but Kris, Luhan, and Chen.
The caretakers stayed for another minute.
Then they left.
They dispersed.
Leaving the boys alone.
Watching Sehun's door.
Listening to him bang on his door.
Listening to his screams and cries.
It was miserable.
He was miserable.
They were all miserable.
Everything was still bathed in red light.
There was so much blood.
But there was no blood.
Sehun's screams grew quieter.
His banging weaker.
Until silence filled the hallway.
The boys stared at the door.
The locked door.
D.O. crept out of his room, closing
