“Alright, I’ll talk to him now. Please don’t cry anymore.”

“Thanks Mom” I whispered softly, enough for my mother to hear.

I walked upstair to my bedroom and closed the door shut. I cried, my body collapse on the floor, back leaning on the door. My head, what actually running on my head?. I’m so stupid for make him waiting this long just to get my courage back to face him. Whatever our future might be, I should face him. I must face him and tell him what bugging on my head. I don’t want to loose him. I don’t want him to just go like that. It’s nearing his graduation ceremony. I don’t have much time.

‘I-I. ..’

‘I …’

‘I should face him today’ ‘I should do this!’

“Chanyeol”

“…”

“Chanyeol dear, open the door please..” Oh mom is here, I should tell her I will face Kris hyung now.

“Yes, Mom” I rose from the floor, turned the door knob, revealing my mother with her concern face.

“Here..” I opened the black box with silver love shapped on top of it. I widened my already big eyes when I see what inside. There’s a ring, it’s silver ring with phoenix carved on the inner part of it. ‘How can? How can he know whats on my mind? I never talk to him about this’, again my poor heart can’t hold the feeling of confused, guilty, insecurity mixed with happiness.  

“He said he will wait for you until you ready to talk to him” I’m too preoccupied with the phoenix ring until I didn’t remember that I need to talk to him now when he already standing beside his car.

“He’s crying Chanyeol. What will you gonna do next?” I never see hyung shed the tears. Then I rushed to my window and saw something that made my heart fell apart. Kris hyung shed the tears on his left cheek, it’s glistening with front gate lamp. I looked back at the ring at my right hand, it’s shining brightly under the moon light. I gripped it tightly. When I ran towards my front door, it’s already too late. Kris hyung already drove away.

“What? What do you mean by he didn’t want to meet you?”

“How can he did that to you?”

“Maybe he need more time Sehun, it’s alright.”

“What so alright about that? He’s been avoiding you all this time. I don’t get it why he’s such stubborn, Hyung!”

“Don’t talk like that Sehun.”

“He’ll lost the opportunity to be with you if he didn’t catch you this time hyung. It just few hours before our flight right?”

“Maybe I can wait until next year? Or after I graduate from university?”

“Don’t act like a fool Hyung!, that wouldn’t be as easy as you said. I’ve tried to forget Tao this past year, but I can’t and it’s hurt. But when I know he’s still available that’s why I want to catch him back to Canada, beside I really want to study there.” Sehun look so serious but Kris just gave him a gentle smile.

Kris sighed, he leaned to his car, he still have six and half hour to go to Canada. He thought Sehun’s right about that, but he couldn’t careless and he didn’t want to hurt Chanyeol. He won’t make him stressed out just because his selfish wish. He can wait for years before, so whats the point to give up after this, he can wait for another years if that mean Chanyeol will talk to him again, he  thought.

“Tok tok tok” knocks on someone house front door. Sehun knocks in hurry, his usual stoic face really scary this time. His uneasy heart make it worse, he can’t take it anymore. He already heard about Chanyeol  jealous over him from  Minseok. He sighed at the news. He can’t believe Chanyeol can jealous that easily. How can? He can’t wait any longer to make things clear.

Chanyeol’s mother a bit irritated with the eager knocks sound.

“Wait, I’m coming…” When Chanyeol’s mother opened the door, she can’t figured the person in front of her, they’ve never meet before right? What so urgent until someone need to knocks people house at this time? Won’t they come again tomorrow? It’s already 10.10 PM okay...

“Good night aunty, can I meet Chanyeol?” Sehun asked to the point.

“What? Who are you?” she said with her displeasant look.

“I’m Sehun aunty, Kris’ friend. Sorry for disturbing you, but this is so urgent.”

“Alright. Wait here, I’ll call him for you.”

“Chanyeol” Chanyeol’s mother knocks his room door and the boy opened the door, still with his sad face and puffy eyes because cried too much.

“Kris friend search for you dear.”

“Who?”

“He said his name’s Sehun. His face said there’s something urgent he need to talk to you about”

Chanyeol nodded his head and descend downstair to the living room.

“Oh Sehun shii? What are you doing here? It's already late.”

“We need to talk!. It’s about Kris hyung.” Sehun need to suppres his anger to the boy in front of him. He’s in the said boy house after all and there’s his mother at the house too.

“I think we don’t need to talk about anything Sehun shii”

“We do need to talk Chanyeol shii” Sehun insisted.

“Alright, sit here” Sehun following Chanyeol to sit at the couch.

“Listen, you are misunderstand with our relationship. I heard from your friend Minseok said you’re actually jealous over me. And for your information, we are not in relationship nor I like him the way you do to him.” Chanyeol furrowed his eyebrow in confusion.

“But-but I heard my self that Kris hyung’s mother once said that he should married to her mother bestfriend son before he go to Canada and I heard that you are his mother friend son too.”

“Oh My God Chanyeol, how can you don’t know about this?”

“What do you mean by this?”

“Sigh… don’t you know the person that Kris hyung’s mother mentioned is you! not me, okay?” another confusing information make a weird feeling inside Chanyeol’s mind.

“What?”

“Still don’t know? I thought Kris hyung already told you that you’re his first love from his childhood crush?”

“I’m going now!. I need to prepare my flight too you know.”

“What? Where are you going?”

“What do you mean, I’m his first love? Flight? Where?”

“I , I mean we, me and Kris hyung will be on flight tomorrow morning. I think I should tell you before you regret everything later on. Bye! ” he said with unamused wave hand and leaving Chanyeol in deep thought.

I still stared at the opened door blankly after seems five minutes since Sehun left my house. What did I just heard?

“Catch him, before everything’s late Chanyeol” I turned my body to face my mother. She looks determined in her tone despite the sleepy eyes and tired body that she felt throughout her body.

“Yes, mom”

I ran to my room and reached for that ring on my drawer.

“Hello, Good night”

“Yes?”

“Umh aunty, can I meet Kris hyung?”

“Oh, yeah he’s not home. Madam said young master go to his boyfriend home to ask him for engagement.”

“Who’s there?”came Kris’ mother voice from upstair.

“Who are you young man? Madam asked you.”

“I’m Chanyeol aunty”

“It’s Chanyeol shii, Madam” the old maid shouted.

“Really?”

“Tell him to come here upstair”

“Yes Madam”

“Chanyeol shii, you heard that madam want to meet you upstair.”

“A-A-lright, thanks aunty”

“Go-good night a-aunty”

Nervousely I climbed upstair to that sound direction, ah it’s from Kris hyung’ room.

“Oh, Chanyeol.. here come here sit beside me” She’s really gorgeus in up close, no wonder Kris hyung inherit her beauty.

“I thought you already talk to Kris, why are you here? Where is Kris?”

“I didn’t meet him yet aunty, I’m here to meet him. He went to my house earlier but, but I’m too afraid to face him” I didn’t realize that Kris’ mother gripping on that picture which usually hanging on the wall the other day I visited here.

“Who is that the one on that picture aunty?” I’m so curious but I don’t have time to ask to Kris hyung directly that time.

“It’s you” she stated calmly and looked back to the picture.

“Surprised?”

“Wha-?”

“I bet he didn’t said anything about this to you. But we are all know that you are his first love Chanyeol”

“Umh… Sehun shii said that too, but I don’t understand.” My hand rubbed the back of my head in confusion. 

“Who is that yeobo?” suddenly someone appeared from downstair to this room too.

“Oh, Chanyeol! you’re here..” Uncle Suho looks so surprised.

“Uncle Suho?” I’m so happy to see uncle Suho again, so I ran to his direction through the opened door and hugs him tight.

“Ouffh… Be careful Chanyeol” Uncle Suho need to steady his posture so we don’t crash with cold floor.

“Uncle, I miss you so much”

“Really?”

“Yeah.. ummh, by the way what are you doing here Uncle?”

 “I just come back home from Canada, and what about you, what are you doing here?”

“What do you mean Uncle?”

“Hummh..” Suho rub his tired neck “I know it’s my fault not to tell you that my son loves you Chanyeol.”

“What?”

“See? Another surprise for you, I guess” Mrs . Kim “You should tell him earlier yeobo..”

“We are Kris’ parent, Chanyeol..”

“REALLY?”

“Come on Kris, I don’t want to see Chanyeol gloomy face again.” Luhan suggest him. They’re now in nearby park. Luhan and Minseok worried about Kris and Yeol relationship after Sehun’s info an hour before. So, here they’re asked Kris to try once again.

“If you won’t tell him the truth soon, should I talk to him first?” Minseok tried to help them.

 “No.. you don’t need to, it’s our problem after all. I will try again, maybe tomorrow?”

“What tomorrow? You said you will be in Canada tomorrow morning? I don’t want to see Chanyeol doing another stupid thing. He’s too afraid to see you but the worst is he didn’t want to loose you either.”

“I need to regain my heart to face him again guys, I hope I still have time before the fl
