Xiumin’s last class had ended hours ago and he NEEDED coffee.

Not only had it been 2 months, but I have to grade all these tests tonight. Ugh i’m getting tired just thinking about it.

His mind was made up Xiumin finished packing and practically ran to the cafe. It was late and there was barely anyone inside, but he still hesitated at the doorway,

Man up you wuss! You have been hit on before, and he isn’t even here right now! He works in the morning on thursdays

Xiumin opened the door, and the smell of coffee hit him, he closed his eyes and took deep breathes nearly tearing up

Coffee! Oh I missed you so much! No handsome ert will ever come between us again!..........Did I say handsome?

A voice behind the counter cut off his thoughts

“Xiumin you gorgeous man it has been too long"

“Chen, Why are you here” Chen look around and leaned in like he was sharing a secret

“You may not have noticed but......... I work here”

“That is not what I meant! I mean what are you doing here right now!? You don’t work thursday nights!”

Chen leaned against the counter in a very y way, that Xiumin tried not to notice

“Should I be flattered that you learned my work schedule or offended that you are trying so hard to avoid me?”

“You finally realised, I’m avoiding you?”

“Well Kyungsoo mentioned it and I realised I hadn’t seen you since the uh........ groping incident”

Chen smirked and Xiumin blushed

“I want another worker........ ANY other worker”

“Sorry but I’m the only one, some teacher assigned a last minute essay due tomorrow, so they’re all home writing” Damn, that was me

“As the only worker not in college any more-” dropped out huh? “-i volunteered to help out.... and I’m very glad I did”

Chen eyed Xiumin up and down lingering a bit below the hips, Xiumin regretted wearing his very skinny jeans

“So what can I do for you” Chen winked, but Xiumin needed his coffee and he wasn’t in the mood to play around

“YOU, can take my order”

“Alright tell me you're type”

“My Type?”

“What do you look for in a.........Coffee?”

Xiumin rolled his eyes Is he really using a coffee euphemism, to ask me what I look for in a man

Chen had on an excited smile waiting for a reply Yes, Yes he is

“Well I like my coffee dark” Chen rubbed his brown hair “and smart” chen raised an eyebrow at that, Yep I like smart guys you college dropout “and tall” Chen smirked not at all intimidated

“I’m sure i could show you something in a smaller size you would enjoy”

Xiumin smirked “No, tall is definitely my type”

Chen leaned in and lowered his voice all y “Not everything about me is small”

Wow reference, who saw that coming, hehe .......Wow Xiumin are you really that childish

Xiumin finally managed to get his coffee ordered even if he had to endure a few more innuendoes too get it

As Chen walked off to make Xiumin’s coffee he winked and blew Xiumin a kiss, who turned to hide his blush.

Xiumin watched the last 2 customer leave, one was tan and fit while the other was attractive but kinda dazed looking, (he nearly walked into the door).

As they walked out Xiumin realized that he and Chen were the only 2 people left in the building

Chen walked out with Xiumin’s coffee it’s a small, you

Xiumin went too take it but knocked it over, hot coffee spilled all over his hand

Chen wasted no time, he picked up Xiumin and rushed him to the sink in the back, immediately ran it under cold water

Xiumin was in pain and pissed off, he was about to take it out on Chen when he noticed how serious and.........y he looked

“How bad does it hurt”

“It feels fine under the water”

Chen walked to the locker room, and came back with a first aid kit, and a.....shirt?

“Some coffee got on your shirt, this is the one I wore into work, so it’s clean, I can wear my uniform home”

Xiumin carefully pulled off his shirt so as not to pull on his bandage, and set it in the sink to soak

Chen took Xiumin’s hand “You know I really do like you, I’m not just teasing you”

Xiumin could feel himself blush, but he  tried to remain in control, “Well you’re not as smooth as you think” Xiumin gestured to his burned arm.

Chen laughed then got this look on his face that could only be described as “Emperor of the Night”

“Well I’m not so sure about that, I do have you all alone in a room half ”

Xiumin got nervous, as the situation fully hit him.

Chen leaned in and Xiumin didn’t even notice he was backing up till he hit the wall.

Chen got extremely close in all the right ways, just then Xiumin’s phone rang.

Chen leaned in to kiss Xiumin’s neck and breathed “Leave it”

Xiumin gently pushed Chen back and pulled out his phone,

“Xiumin where the hell are you!?”

“Sehun” Chen twitched “I’m sorry I’ll be home soon”

“I’m not going to help you grade tests anymore, if you’re just going to keep me waiting up all night!”

“Alright I get it! I’ll be there in 10 minutes” Xiumin hung up

“I have to go”

Chen nodded and threw him the shirt, Why is he being so quiet?

Xiumin put it on, and Chen walked him too the front door.

Xiumin had never seen Chen so quiet it was freaking him out

“So? I’ll bring back the shirt....tomorrow?”

“Yeah that’s fine” He sounds angry!? Why is he angry?!

“Chen, I just want you to know” Xiumin quickly kissed Chen on the cheek “I think short guys are my style”

Xiumin ran away, and Chen touched his cheek with reverence and finally smiled.

Just so you know Xiumin and Sehun are roomates
