Son Yeonmi is often dubbed as "tablo's disciple" the hiphop genius was her mentor in rapping, her vocal skills are great too she is constantly featured by YG artists such as Tablo's Bad and a cover of Justin Timberlakes Suit and Tie with Tablo,  Gdragon's ROD, Seungri's GG BE. she also covered Bigbang' Bad Boy and finally released a cover of Eyes Nose Lips just recently  Yeonmi however shines most in the field of dancing trained professionally in ballet by her mother the famous ballerina Song Mieun. She gained further training in dance in Def Dance Skool. She is also constantly a favorite back-up dancer for YG artists along with the famous Kwon Brothers.

Also active in dance competitions, here and abroad, there's no doubt why Son Yeonmi or now known as MiA, will be the main dancer,lead vocalist,lead rapper of QUEEN, she is the 4th revealed member and the 1st member of sub-unit QUEEN-Y. MiA was a former woolim trainee and transferred to YGE by the year 2010. Her dancing skills was revealed in a video "who's that girl?" along with her appearing in Gdragon's One of A Kind music video.
