After the afterschool bell rang the day before April's Fool, Arjae ran to one of her best guy friends, Hoseok (also friends with her older brother, Jin).

"Hoseok!" Arjae called, as Hoseok turned and smiled at her.

"Hey~what's poppin'?" Hoseok greeted Arjae with a friendly embrace.

"Could I ask you a favor?" Arjae asked quietly.

"What's the sudden urgency? And why do you have to whisper?" Hoseok asked.

"Can you help join me in pranking Suga? Like we act like we're together after I tell Suga that I want to break up with him." Arjae explained.

"Sure...what should I do?" Hoseok glanced curiously back at Arjae.

"So, wait for me near the intersection close to my house; and I'll pretend to go off with you after I tell him to break up with me." Arjae instructed.

"Alright. But, are you sure he won't get hurt?" Hoseok glanced at Arjae in doubt.

"It'll be fine." Arjae refuted. "I'll tell him the truth by the end of tomorrow."

"Alright then. Deal. See you tomorrow," Hoseok waved Arjae goodbye.

"Sorry, I was kind of late today." Suga apologized, as Arjae walked beside him after they met up in the intersection of her house.

"It's okay." Arjae said abruptly, not turning to Suga.

Suga stopped then grasped Arjae's arm. "What's wrong? Why do you keep ignoring me?"

Arjae's gaze wondered around; then she exhaled deeply. "Suga..."

Suga had a bad feeling swimming in his guts. Was she going to...?

"...I don't think we can work out anymore. I think I like Hoseok now. So, let's break up, okay?" Arjae breathed out the final phrase in one-go. He'd definitely fall for that.

Suga's breathing suddenly became abrupt. Once he recovered, Suga stuttered, "Wait, what? Are you being serious?" Suga grabbed her arms. "Arjae-ah! Didn't we work well for 6 months, why are we breaking up after so long?"

"I'm sorry." Arjae diverted her gaze. "Goodbye." Arjae then turned to run off and link hands with Hoseok.

After seeing the entire scene unfold before his eyes, Suga's whole world came crashing down.
