Sophie's POV

the drive back felt so long. The air between us was so awkward and i was trying to contain my jumbled emotions.. what the hell

was he thinking? Kissing me? Why? Revenge? Was he trying to get back at me for avoiding him? if it was then childish move Choi Seunghyun. Tears fell down

as i stared blankly at the darkness outside hiding my tears.The darkness beyond the window consumed me as i fell deep in

thought. I came home a new women,i thought i rid of my teenage feelings for him but the kiss reopened a crack that i've been

trying to mend and made those feeling creep back to me. The smell of his manly aftershave aroused tingling every sensor on my skin.

His soft supple lips crushing into mine made me feel like i was flying and fireworks erupted in a million directions. I opened up

myself allowing him to step up his game only to be pulled away from. Our kiss played in my mind over and over again like a broken

tape. A broken tape I wish I could simply throw out and forget.

As we reached my house i hopped out of the car not uttering even a goodbye nor did he. My head hung low as i entered the living

room wiping away tears. I ran up the stairs to my room locked the doors and cried to my hearts contain. My head was dizzy trying

to figure out why he kissed me only to leave me hanging. That night i cried myself to sleep regretting my decision to come home. 

Days became weeks and i did not muster the courage to call him nor did he call me. One day i received a text message from a

former high school classmate:

From: Youngbae

Hey! Why didnt you tell us you r back? 

I'm rounding up the gang this Friday.

Let's meet up for a drink.our usual place?

The unexpected invite cheered me up. Never thought they would still remember me after all these years. As Friday came closer i

became anxious and excited at the same time. I rummage through my unpacked luggage looking for something decent to wear. I

pulled out a red knee length dress and put on light makeup. Matched the dress with a pair of red heels. I let my hair down and

accessorized with a black studded hairband. I made my way to the restaurant and entered to find the whole gang have arrived and

were waiting for me. As i walked in all eyes were fixed on me and they all had a flabbergasted expression on them. I saw

Seunghyun sitting at the very end of the table with an empty seat next to him. My friends were all wooing at me as i sat next to

Seunghyun. In front of me was our class maknae Lee Seunghyun but we called him baby Seunghyun. 

" Heol noona..is that you? What happened to my noona? Where are your sneakers and jeans? London give her back!" He dramatically screamed only to get hit in the back of the head by our class president Kwon Jiyong.

"I've always been a girl baby Seunghyun! were you blind?" i said coyly at him laughing thinking of how boyish i must have been in high school. Well as you can see I am the only girl in this group of guys. And I did love my sneakers,jeans and plaid shirts.

"Wow Sophie I can feel the city vibe emiting from you. London made you into a very sophisticated women" Youngbae said smiling at me.

"Yeah and welcome home Sophie. Our friday night hangouts were incomplete without you" Jiyong said as he held my hands from

across the table.

"Its nice to be home" i answered shortly.

"Noona, so what is it like being in London?" Asked Daesung as he gave me his never changing eye smile.

"nothing exciting so whats new with you guys? anyone getting married soon? babies on the way? I volunteer as god mother!" i exclaimed excitedly.

"No way! You are not gonna be our kids god mother!" they all said unanimously which made me laugh even more.

We talked and laughed through the night catching up with each other's story. Youngbae opened up a dance studio which was one of the best

in Seoul, Daesung was a TV host, Jiyong turned to become a really famous music producer and his songs were apparently

sweeping the charts in South Korea and our maknae Seunghyun opened up a chain of restaurants selling various authentic korean

dishes.

"So what are your plans after this? is this a come home for good or are you going back to London?" Youngbae asked

"I don't know Youngbae I do feel like doing another research but i dunno. Time will tell i guess" i answered

We talked and drink some more and Seunghyun beside me was mummed and stayed silent through out the night until Daesung

innocently asked 

"Hyung, why are you so quiet and stiff? Did you have a fight with noona?"

"aniyo" he blankly stared at Daesung.

"Lies, i can smell the between you two from here" maknae said as he glared at us turning his head from me and

Seunghyun.

"What? Nonsense. You guys are drunk. We should get back its getting late" i quickly replied to avoid anymore awkwardness.

Jiyong paid the bill for dinner that night and we said our goodbyes in front of the restaurant. I stood in front of the restaurant

trying to hail a cab but to no avail. The calm spring breeze was blowing lightly when suddenly someone wrapped a trenched coat over my shoulders and stood next to me.

"we need to talk" Seunghyun said as he looked to the ground with his hands tucked in his pockets.
