Hakyeon knew, for being the youngest in the filming club meant he’d do the dirtiest works, picked up the heaviest equipment, being bossed around the most. His scope of work included cleaning the table from the mess after their dinner. It all paid off, even when it was already one in the morning and everyone else had left. Because in the middle of the quiet night, someone poked her head behind the door and offered to help.

And that someone was none other than the girl he had crushed on for so long, a senior from the same club, the main actress for the short movie they were working on.

“The others are so bad for leaving you alone.” Fei complained as she began to help the cleaning up.

“Nah, I should at least do this much. I really learn a lot for being able to be part of the team.”

Fei flashed him a wide smile. “You’re really hardworking. And patient, kind, and gentle.”

Hakyeon chuckled, “you praise me too much.” Hakyeon had to remind himself to breathe in and breathe out so that he would not show himself freaking out in front of her for being noticed, being complimented way than he could ever imagined, and for staring at her gorgeous, shining smile.

“So,” Fei bit down her lower lip, “let’s drink after this.”

“Drink- after th- uh, us two?”

Fei nodded. “On me.”

Being bossed around and all totally paid off, right?
