 they have always said that, "the best kind of people are the ones that come into your life, and make you see the sun where you once saw clouds. the people that believe in you so much, you start believe in you too. they people that love, simply for being you. the once in a lifetime kind of people." i'm always the one who made people feel this way. but with her, it's different. it's as though i can't be the cure to her 'sickness'; she always said that, "this world is full of monsters with friendly faces. be on guard." but that's not true. - kai

kim jongin, the dancing machine of the well known kpop group; exo, has always been reading this particular person whenever they meet on stage, off stage, backstage or anywhere, where they would bump into each other. he never had a very good impression of her due to, firstly, they never did have a chance to talk. people always said never to judge a book by its cover, but kai did. secondly, she always gave kai the kind of impression whereby she would be those clingy annoying girls he met in school, because of how she is onstage, offstage and during recording. she always tend to have a smile on her face, dorking with her members, and those cute little laughters she made. to kai, she seems fake. she is apink's son naeun. 

but kai's mindset and impression changed ever since someone told him this, "everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. be kind. always." reasons to why this someone told him this? you will find out in the story. wink. and that's when he started reading and trying hard to figure out naeun, and his eyes never left her whenever they meet.

son naeun, the visual of the fairy idols girl group; apink. she was well known for her black image, because everything of her is practically black. she is in charge of this whole 'sweet and feminine' image and thats totally the opposite of how she actually really is. her real self. she is rather quiet but not shy, just anti social in a way. she would always put up to this cheerful image her company wanted her to be, but she was never happy. in actual fact, she isnt the girl next door, who is cute, friendly, sweet and everything she appears to be. how she hope she is, but life is never fair. naeun built up many strong walls around her so that people wouldnt hurt her, or even see her vulnerable side. behind those walls hid a very depressed, quiet and scared girl. she never let people in, she couldnt help but not to open herself because opening up means allowing people to hurt you. to why she is like that? you will find out in the story. the only ones she had and was comfortable with was, her older adopted brother, her members, her cube family, and herself.

but what happens when kai tries to step into naeun's comfort zone, breaking down all the walls she have built, making her feel because there's nothing, not even the walls to protect her anymore?
