Taekwoon runs home, continuously glancing at the string. He wills it to break, to snap, to cut.
It doesn't.
He soon arrives home. He opens the door, and feels his family's eyes on him.
"How was the dance?" His youngest sister asks. Taekwoon shakes his head, and runs to his room. He sits on his bed, and just stares at the knot. It's weightless, and his fingers move threw it. He watches it as it continues to allow blood to reach his finger. A tear falls on the knot, and Taekwoon sighs again.
"Taekwoon, are you aright?" His sister asks threw the door.
"Tired," Taekwoon says, changing quickly into his pajamas. He crawls in bed, and spends the night watching the knot.

Wonshik stares at Hakyeon's knot, not that Hakyeon isn't looking.
"You have a string," Wonshik says, and Hakyeon nods. "Why?"
"I don't know," Hakyeon says, looking at it.
"Are you alright?" Wonshik asks, and Hakyeon nods.
"I think I'll just go home," Hakyeon says, walking to the door. He leaves, and glances at the string. Hakyeon bites his lip, and starts walking home. He reaches his house, and walks in.
"Hakyeon, you're back early," his mother says, walking out to greet him.
"Something came up," Hakyeon says, and she frowns.
"What?" She asks, and he holds up his hand.
"A string," Hakyeon says, and she walks to him. His mother's eyes widen, and she gulps.
"You have a string," she says, and Hakyeon nods.
"Mom," Hakyeon whispers, and his mother pulls him into her embrace.
"Are you happy with who is on the other end?" She asks, and Hakyeon nods.
"I just met him," Hakyeon says, smiling. "But he feels right."
"Okay sweetie," his mother says, smiling.
"I'm going to go to bed," Hakyeon says, and his mother kisses his cheek.
"I love you," she says.
"I love you too," he says, hugging her again. He walks upstairs, and into his room. Hakyeon takes off his father's suit, and crawls into bed. He smiles, and falls into sleep.

/Red rope strangles Hakyeon's long neck, and grows tighter with each breath. He struggles to breathe, as a figure walks to him. Hakyeon gasps for oxygen, slumping down. The figure tilts his head up, and Hakyeon gazes into the eyes of his connection./
